please Respond: I have 2 guppies, 2 red wag swords, and 2 Gouramis, Which one should I breed? and Any extra tips for them? I have a 20 gal. btw.. Please Respond! Ω=)Ω
@FluffMachien generally, the female fish has rounded fins near her bum, and the male has pointed fins near his bum. Males have bigger tales and more colour too
Thank you for your video, I have had tanks in the past but just started one back up a couple of wks ago, they are very calming and fun to watch, and I especially love watching the birthing process.
lol i fucking hate fish after my small gold one acted like a whore omg it was tackling the jar and making stupid faces at me and when i put my finger beside the jar it swims fast and tackle's the jar i hate them am sticking to cats and birds -_-
I have swordtails and trying to get them to breed I have one male and two females but one female is adult size or watever and one little one will this work? Also I have glofish in there to make it a little more colorful, will this affect their breeding?
does the blackspot rule also apply for swordtail fish because i have on with a black spot by the end of the stomach like you said and i think its pregnant
everything perfect great song but, when i go to the store and say give me one male and one female they say they cannot tell them appart. so how do you tell the appart for black mollies
@begzodiscool males have like a stick underneith (anaal fin) and females have a fan shaped anal fin and if there guppies usaly males have a bigger and prettier tale than the female
I used to breeding like over 30 guppies. i started with 2 and i have guppies for many years. now im have 2 new guppies all i have is 2. and 4 or 5 Platies, 1 swordtail, 3 mollies, 6 kribensis cichlids, 2 firemouth, 1 texas cichlids, pec something, the fish clean the tank. also 3 rasboras tetras, and 11 Bait Shinners.
very good video thanks for uploading! so is the breeder tank totally necessary? im getting a 20 gallon and after it cycles i want to put a couple dalmation mollies in there to see what happens. i have never breed fish and no nothing of it. i just think it would be awesome to see! is this possible?
I have a nice looking maale that i wanna breed with another nice-looking female such as male mickey with doublesword female but the male just won't fertilise the females.
Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are all either 0 or safe zone(can't remember) and pH is 7.2. Tips?
one of my goldfish keeps lying on the floor what is that a sign of it swims away then keeps coming back to it but theres definately no eggs her im sure i have two girls one man will they brred plz reply
It will usually be swimming around differently. And sometimes it's mouth will be moving constantly. To unstress them, get some good water conditioner. They usually have something in them that calms the fish. Also make sure there are a lot of plants!
Is there a problem if I have guppies, platies, and goldfish when i try to breed? or not? and is it good to put a lot o plants in there or just a few? could you post back.. Thanks!!!
@juanesbond TAKE THE GOLDFISH OUT!!!!! Guppies and platies are tropical fish, while goldfish are coldwater. The goldfish will die. How many guppies and platies do you have? How big is tha tank?
its a 96 litre tank whit big strong filter very clean water no air bubble i have red/black/white and natural colour gravel 2 caves some flat rocks a boats that u can split 4 plastic plants and 1 mini algae eater what would u suggest i should get? couse i dont think i can handle egg's. i wanna try a live bearer but i dont know what i should do whit my cichlids then. plz reply.
I don't know anything about cichlids! Sorry! And if you want to get rid of them, sell them back to the local fish store! Depending on the store, sometimes you can get store credits to buy more fish!
Hey, i rly need some advice i have 2 jack dempsey cichlids that laid about 200 eggs in a cave i was so excited couse i that therw would be some fry but 3-4 days nothing happend they just protect the eggs but when i came home from school they were all crushed and gone and i bought crushed fry food i was very annoyed and depressed .
@FishFreak09 it may be the size of your tank i have mine in a 10 gal tank right now until they grow about an inch then i will mve them to a 35gal tank u should try getting a bigger tank
@liveoptimistically It looks like a Black Widow or Bleeding Heart that hasn't got all it's colour. Will check with my boss at work. Nice vid, very entertaining.

I clean my baby tank (10 gallon) once every other week... but I have cory cats in there to help with the mess. I feed them crushed flake food. Other food seems like such a hassle. Make sure there is enough room to grow. I move the fish I want to keep into my 20 gallon after a couple months. I noticed that they grew so much faster and got their color way before my other ones in the 10 gallon. So maybe try that if you have a larger tank! hope this help. if you have more questions let me know!
Yes you could. Put a small floating plant in the top so she has a little area to hide. If you have tank conditioner you can put that in too. That reduces the stress. Just remember all fish are different... you do run the risk of her getting very stressed out, but my fish have not had that problem.
@tokyoj3 no do not do that for 5 weeks she would stress out and die just keep her calm and maybe take the male out of the tank for a while if possible i lost a couple of my mollys cause i had a horny male .... lol but put her in about a week befor you think she will give birth it usually take 4 weeks after they did it
My guppy has been pregnant for a few months now. I've read something about it and it said that the female won't give birth until she feels safe. Is this true? I have some semi aggressive fish in my tank, but no one bothers her. Thanks. Great video by the way :)
@nightslash02 Guppies. There the easiest.:) make sure you do research and stuff. Good luck!

whats the cheapest livebearer to breed?
do they have breeding tanks at petco?
and u have beautiful fish
