The music was always a big reason why I loved the ECW so much. It was just a perfect fit. I remember I would show ECW to my friends who hated pro wrestling, and they would love it just because of the music, and the attitude. WWF was wrestling for kids, WCW was rasslin for rednecks, and the ECW was wrestling for pot smoking metalheads like me. No more ECW? No more interest in pro wrestling. Thumbs up if you stoped watching wrestling after the ECW went out of bussiness.
the riff at 1:54 sounds like fucking hostile. and the little bend thing he does before the solo sounds like the part of hollow right at the end. idk, youll figure it out xD
@SIR562 I meant the original song by ZZTop, which was off of Fandango, from 1975. Not when the cover came out. Obvbously no one thinks Pantera was from '75. Pantera was an awesome band, and I was simply expressing my rage that someone could possibly say that Dimebag ripped this off from fuel by Metallica. Even if I liked metallica...that is a retarded statement., especially when considering that it says it's a cover in the description.
Also does anyone recognize the similarity of the opening riff on this so the main riff on metallica's fuel and yeah dime believed in "sharing " riffs which is why so many upcomming bands sample songs like psycho holiday the double bass kick pedal bit in that was sampled in a enter shikari song can't remember which one but it was dime rest in peace brother ....
@tufel77 This is a cover from 1988 u dick. Fucking Pantera and Metallica are both great bands. but yeah this obviously has nothing to do with anything Metallica did. fucking imbeciles
Anyone else notice how similar this song is to FUCKING HOSTILE by Pantera...?
The "I heard it... I heard it... I heard it on the X" part is amazingly similar to "To see... To Bleed... Cannot be done..." as heard in FH by pantera...?
man when phil didn't want to come back to pantera they shouldhave done a 3 piece thing because dime and rex both have preety good voices and since dime couldn't sing for long periods of time w/out getting a his voice gettin kinda hoarse (I have the same problem) I think it would have worked with them tradeing off.

1rst time hearing this one! Always heard about it. An obvious choice for Texas' best Metal band. You can see where they got their magic...

That little slide at 2:16 sounds strangely like a slide Dime did in another pantera song... lol. Ten points to whoever guesses it!!!
KATZMANISGOD 1 year ago
@KATZMANISGOD It's not a slide.
But... Where you come from.

don't like the twangy guitar part. Prefer a little more gain on that but everything else is awsome. Dime played slide so great.
