this car in denmark will probably cost 3-4 M dollars, super cars allmost doesent exist here, they are overpriced. and knightsbridge is probably the most exclusive place in london so yes its a good place to watch these cars, try sloane street too where all the fancy brands are

I'm a thai student, wishing to go to the UK for university. I'm wondering if i can own cars. Since UK cars are quite cheap and im planning to own a scuderia, since Thailand gets 300% Tax on importing cars as you may or may not know. It is way beyond my ability to pay those taxes. But if i buy the car in a foreign country and bring it back to thailand, the taxes don't have to be paid AT ALL. I'm wondering if a student owning a car as a student is possible @ UK? THANKS

@Shmee150 To be fair even if you're fortunate enough to be able to afford a Scuderia, 300% tax on top of the retail price would probably be too much for most potential buyers to pay. Sounds like a positively ludicrous tax to me, especially as there aren't exactly any Thailand-based competitors to Ferrari, Aston-Martin, etc who stand to gain anything from such a measure.

@empireuk1 Also, as a current university student, I'd say the value of a car would vary dependent on your location. It might be handy but from my experience at Cambridge you might find it more of a hassle than it's worth; I'd be skeptical of the value of car to a student in London - it'd really depend a lot on your situation!

If on the other hand you just want to avoid the ghastly 300% tax you mentioned, go ahead. America is usually the cheaper market but the UK should be better than EU.

Singapore charges almost 200% for imported cars. extra tax on luxury cars. in addition, we have to buy something called a COE, by means of registering cars which can cost up to a few hundred thousand dollars. The 4 lamborghini reventons we have here cost the owners almost 3 million dollars just for registration alone which is really expensive considering that our exchange rate to the U.S is 1:1.2.

I was in London twice, lovely city(especially when the whether is sunny ;)) ) and I never understand whats the point to buy and drive sport cars in huge cities like London? THE roads are always buys...huge traffic everywhere... you can't even speed up your car to the next traffic light. I think fast cars must be driven on huge and wide roads like they have in America, Germany and ... Italy.

frankfurt, rome and new york are the same as london for traffic. there are roads you can drive fast cars on in england, just not in the big cities
