the answer is, you have probably went on mozilla firefox or something and kept on refreshing the page, utube notices that, so the stuck u, and it will start again when the same amount of views u got from that, is watched by real people, the best thing to do is not to keep on refreshing ur page

The claim that they do it to stop spam is ludicrous. All they have to do is not allow those views. There's no need to freeze an account for weeks so it "gets enough views" to start the timer again. Youtube is owned by Google. By supressing videos that don't pay to be featured or use Google 'Adsense.' They drive up visibilty for those that do. And if you were dumb enough to monetize your videos, freezing tallows youtube to play ads on your vids at no cost to them. It's free money for youtube. .

Some have told me it is due to watching your own videos to get the view counter to go up. I for one do not do that. However I do go to my popular videos to answer questions in the comments. I instantly pause the video so I don't have to listen to it play. So I am still wondering what the hell is up. I personally think Youtube is getting plugged up and can't keep up with the flow of info coming in. YOUTUBE NEEDS A FREAKIN ENEMA.

We can all keep complaining but nothing is getting done. Youtube really needs to get there thumbs out of there asses and at least tell us what is going on. I have written to them several times through the years and never once heard back from them. This particular problem with the frozen view counter is really affecting my ad sense account as well. I think they are pulling a fast one to allow adds to run without paying the video poster, MEANING US.

easiest way is to log out of that account for maybe under a day and/or try to not view our own videos. The server is reading your IP and if you're constantly on your own page then it makes it seem as if you're spamming and/or boosting your views. It happens all the time so best advice to stay off your own videos if you're logged in unless you get a proxy list. But that's another story.

I'm thinking this issue is gonna make youtube lose their credibility for the serious artists that rely on their views to prove their marketability to the industry.
