Taking Bart train from Montgomery station to Glenn Park San Francisco

Have always wondered how the people who control the trains are able to pretty much stop those trains with the doors right in front of those black marks painted on the platforms, they usually stop them right in front of them at least 80% of the time if not better than that.

@Alfonzia18 The DC Metro (and Atlanta's MARTA) was based off of BART, BART being the start of the modern transit era in the 60's/70's. As you notice, all 3 of these systems look similar, in shape, design, construction, train cartypes, etc

@EasternWind25 - do yours make the same humming noises as ours. lol Iknow ours goes underneath the bay from oakland to sf and the tunnels are hella loud. like really really loud. haha
