My Aunt was very vocal in Bringing Gianni Versace to NYC. she was the fashion director for B.Altman and she was the most wonderful woman who loved Gianni very much. I want to tell you something about that. message me. I had a really great grey cotton jacket with slightly padded sloped shoulder with like a new wave triangular flap that snapped across the front. the lining was deeper grey satin elegant and soft and I never wanted to take it off. It was stolen.

Many of my clothes are from that department store in NY! I am so excited that someone was actually brought up in those years when Versace was shaping the new heirs of the fashion setters in the 80's!

Man, I love you for sharing this. Please post more of the early Versace. Donatella does boring men stuff compared to Gianni's huge creativity. I have early stuff and love it. My friends make fun of me, tell me this is too much glam and so over, but Gianni will always be the best in my mind and heart. His leather jackets and silkshirts were breathe taking. If anyone can help me with finding the very old fashion shows for men and women or men catalogues up to #8, I would LOVE to hear from you. Tom

Did you purchase it at a Gianni Versace Boutique in California? If I owned a Gianni Versace vest I would love to wear it in either black or red. The colour looks very nice on you and you could wear it with a Designer shirt under the vest.

Thank you, but I was just wearing it for the video. I don't wear vintage clothes too much unless they are amazing t-shirts. I only wear Gaultier at night.
