mine can only record a max. of 6 seconds or eles its too big to send. Why is that?

@PwnageByAwesome Video files are BIG and it doesn't take much before a video file is too big to e-mail. That's probably what you are seeing.

for anyone who has a problem, when sending to any computer or mac, and dont have sound. i have the same problem. i dont know why. but my guess is that maybe it has to much space that was taken up by the actual video. but im not sure..

Hey! I just did a test video on same phone(res 640 by 480)and it allows a playback res on youtube of 480. I notice the video above(which looks great)has a top playback of only 360. Hmmmm- I'm going to have to wait till I can do a similar test in outdoor light to see if I get a comp nice vid quality. The fact that my test vid can be played back here at 480 is a good sign. But I did the test under flourescent light which is not great for video. Will post outdoor vid soon.

@XxClemsonTigersXx Try a different player, i have the same issue with WMP on my PC with my phone. Some players dislike playing the audio. Try VLC if there is an OSX version.

this is exactly why i cant wait to get my lg env touch. i love taken pictures but right now, I have a Samsung Alias version 2 and the camera is crappy. Plus the Alias version 2 doesn't have a flash and the night vision feature sucks!!!!

Even if I set the recording time to "Send" instead of "Save" the phone won't let me send a 640x480 video unless I edit it to 6 seconds or less. Although, I was unable to upload via USB cable as well, I was able to take the card out of my phone and insert it into a SD cardreader and then insert the cardreader into my computer. I was finally able to upload from there. Thanks for the help.

How did you send it to YouTube? When I try to share any of my videos on my enV Touch (either by Video Message, sending to my Online Album or send directly to Facebook) that are shot in 640 x 480, the phone says the file is too large. I don't understand how that is since I have over 3 GB of space on my memory card.

@autotraderjohn you have to set the timer for one minute. you probably have it set for recording of 1 hour. Even though you may have only recorded it for a couple seconds you NEED to have it under the one minute setting in order to send it.

you take a high dif video like that , you will only be able to send 3-4 seconds through a text message , I just have it on the lowest video settings , its a crappy video, but you are able to send 10-15 seconds of video, I use it all the time..

when u take a hi def vid u can send 8 seconds of it and wen u take a low quality vid u can take 60 seconds and send it

the phone charger is a usb and a charger so u just connect threww usb atleast thats how it is with env 3 but im pretty shure its same with touch

sign up for youtube things on your phone on your account settings thing then you can send 30 sec. vids from your phone. but any bigger and you might as wel use a usb cord

I got this phone and am actually surprised at two things about it. First, I am surprised at the quality the video comes out at the highest resolution. Second is how long you can record. I recorded three videos that were each more than 35 minutes long on a 2GB external memory card. Great thing is that the .3p2 file extension is supported by Youtube so it is a direct upload. Check my channel for the new videos.

well i just use the volume up and down thing on the top if your using the main screen on the outside and just zoom in and out as its recording maybe it has to be recording to zoom i never really checked.

Guys hit video or hold camera button until video pops up. Then hit the tab that looks like settings. Then hit resolution and put it on 640 x 640 and the movie should be in HD or HQ. One thing though did you upload the video by sending a pic message to YouTube upload because whenever I do I get a message saying exceeded maximum file size.

i get the same message. i found out that i has to be at least 10 seconds or less to send video messages on that resolution. is there a way to send longer video messages while on that option? cause the only other way to send the videos is to go on 320 x 240 resoultion and when i do it that way its not very good. check out my video of it. its very pixely.
