In advance - sorry for being harsh. The Turning Torso looks great. But then again. It is the most useless piece of architecture (shit), Sweden and/or northern Europe has ever seen. I saw a program once where some of the people leaving in it, couldn’t even hang pictures on the wall. Sorry Sweden people. But you fucked up bad on this one...

It is not among the tallest buildings in the world, but it is the tallest building in Scandinavia! It is 190m tall. The 2nd tallest, Kronprinsen, is just 85m tall and a 90m tall building called Point Hyllie is under construction in a different area. But more tall buildings are planned for Malmö.

It is not a very tall Scyscraper but it is very impressive from the outside and the inside. I have been to a party there once on the 23th floor. Quite amazing place.

I watched some documentary on the whole conception/building process of "Turning Torso" once. It was... cool. Made me want to be an Architect.

Calatrava seemed like a bit of a pretentious spanish jerk-off though.

Sure this has a neat design and architecture, but the Burj Dubai, KDLT tower (I think that's its name) and the previous tallest tower before Burj Dubai, Sears Tower (AKA Willis Tower as of July 16, 09 also counting the antenna height). This tower ranks in the hundereds.

You're quite wrong, official standards don't include the antenna. Without the antenna, the Willis Tower is 442 metres hight, the Tapei 450 metres, the CN tower 457.

But with certain towers, they include the antenna into the tower's overall height, like the Petronas and Empire State. But Willis and Tapei don't have that advantage.
