I kinda like this one; it indeed has this marching quality to it, and I think it lifts the melody to great heights. I love how it goes from soft, gentle orchestra to a full-blown march tune. I'm gonna hear this in my head when I go walking, I'm sure.
@oliverk2000: Für Luxemburg sind überwiegend Ausländer (aus luxemburger Sicht) beim Grand Prix aufgetreten. Die meisten waren Franzosen, aber auch eine Griechin holte 1972 den Grand Prix nach Luxemburg.
Interessant... ein Deutscher sang bei der Eurovision in französisch für Luxemburg unterlegt mit einem spanischen Fernsehkommentar... europäischer geht's kaum noch ;-)
I've probably committed sacrilege by saying it, but I think this song was miles better than "Save Your Kisses For Me" (even though the last note was flat). I used it to set the pace for long-distance walks. Thanks for posting!
You're welcome, my friend. I'm not such a big fan of it personally (that guy looks - and sounds - quite funny, IMO), but you're right, it does have a marching rhythm to it! :-)
@bongobeatbaby everything was better than save your kisses for me...The U.K. really won with really dumb songs...to be honest except for Love Shine a Light...
