  • where can i see the whole show ?

  • My parents saw Gary Beach as Thenardier in the Second National Tour back in 1987. I wonder if his performance was anything like his revival performance. If it was I incredibly jealous.

  • @jnetusil Like compared to the rest of the show or compared to other performances of this song?

  • George Costanaza.

  • It's Rodger DiBris! :)

  • AND IN THE ROLE OF MADAM THENARDIER: MS. BUNNY SWAN!!!

  • Love this!

  • american version????

  • Who plays Madame? I can't stand the way she portrays Mde Thenardier. It's too whiny and high pitch. Jenny Galloway FTW!!!!

  • @ jnetusil - I agree that it doesn't really belong with the rest, but every good musical, especially the tragedies, need a little comic relief for the audience. This is Les Mis's version of Office Krupke.

  • Thank you for posting the "original" of this song which for the last poster it's supposed to be "cutesy"

  • I love these new orchestrations to be honest!

  • This whole number just seemed so rushed

  • Notice the guy clapping making the slap sound at 0:56 :p

  • @jnetusil true, but its not as bad a "little people"

  • lol, is this the one that was in manchester a few months ago?

  • We did this for a marching band show! it was so fun, this was my favorite song to play :)

  • I saw him in Les Mis as well...I agree, he's the best Thenardier there is! Fantastic performer, and he's just so funny!

He really does a stunning job in this role.

  • Almost seemed too fast

  • 1:49 lmao

  • My school did Les Mis this year ( they just finished the shows on 11/6/2010 or 6/11/2010 if you are American) and I

found my school's performance better than the ones I've seen on YouTube. The ones done by Broadway are good but I guess it's just different live and when it's performed by teenagers. They're much louder! :)

  • @thepurpleroom1 jesus... so many fucking delusional people. I bet whoever played Valjean was much better than Colm Wilkinson and John Owen Jones combined because he was so loud!

  • Possibly the most catchy song I have ever heard in my lifetime.

  • is this Ann Harada as Madame?

  • my school just did this for our annual musical, it was ok the guy who played Sir Thenardier was awesome!

  • He is so awesome and Thenardier! I would have NEVER even considered him and he is perfect! I love this!

  • I still loved him as Roger DeBris in the Producers

  • Preble Players Theater is currently doing this musical in Green Bay. Even though they are a high school group I think their production was 10 times better than the Broadway versions I have seen here!

  • Green Bay! I'm from Kaukauna, and we did this 3 years ago during my freshman year, my favorite show we did. I'm a senior now, and we're doing Grease!

  • XD I always thought that noise at the beginning sounded like a fart.

That moment and every one after it were absolutely hilarious. AWESOME job Gary Beach.

  • good, but a little too fast...

  • gary beach is just so kickass, he was hilarious as roger debris in the producers

  • do you have the beggars at the feast from this cast??? do you think you could post it? :)

  • I love this song! Gary Beach did this role soooo well! This is my dream role!

  • mine too! one of them, at least...

  • gary beach is the best on broadway now
