  • The band that originally made this song is The Soul Survivors...my Grandpa was the drummer.

  • @noahmike9 - Your grandpa did a great job on that record. Musical history!

  • Brutal... Consegues enviar uma cópia do concerto?

  • i never realized how white Bruce is until i heard this,,,,ugg--check out the version Todd Rundgren and Daryl Hall do,,,,they do it justice-----and dont get me wrong I been a Bruce fan since '77

  • @jrmrinaz Dude, the guys singing on the Hall and Oates clip were Charlie and Richie Ingui, the leaders of the Soul Survivors.

  • @yankeespy3 no they werent-- the clip I am refering to has Todd Rundgren singing lead and Daryls---live from Daryls house band--not soul survivors

  • @jrmrinaz You're right. God I hate it when The Boss plays a cover in the style of The Boss. He should play less like The Boss. Yeah.

  • Bruce give it up,that is the worst cover ever

  • Clarence should have taken the "baby I took too long" hook. That would complimented Bruce.

  • didn't expect this to be a good version, its good to be wrong once in a while. for what its worth there's a decent version by Amen Corner as well

  • Yes great performance as always almost as good as the original by The Soul Surviors

  • Yep, ALMOST as good as the Soul Survivors, but not quite as good as Charlie and Richie :-)

  • the only reason my comment as it was is because i,m the drummerJOHN--BEEDO--DZUBAK AND CHARLIE AND RICHIE--are my favorites. BRUCE YOUR GREAT.THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK A GREAT SONG. THANKS AGAIN.---CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE----FROM THE 74 ALBUM. DO IT,DO IT.

  • f..in boss kills these old songs...god bless

  • 1967 - Back when music made you feel good.

    What happened....

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it when a band looks like they have having a fun instead of working and just going through the motions.

  • what a performance!

  • madre mia!! que pedazo de versión!!

  • Kenny Jeremiah should be proud The Boss covered his song!!!!!

  • Actually, it was Charlie Ingui singing lead on The Soul Survivors' hit, along with his brother Richie, who sang "Oooo took too long". The tune was written by the legendary Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff and was their 1st million seller. Kenny Jeremiah did, however, sing spendid backround on the record, but to call it "his song" is a bit of a stretch! Kudos to "The Boss" & his band for a fine cover of a great song! Thanx for posting, s1buy!!!

  • Fantastic. I am sick with excitement....roll on Glasgow Valladolid and London....just hope Ian Tucker doesnt snore!!

  • Hey! I was there that night! Saw your son, lucky kid. Though, as they were leaving, I happened to be right near the railing where the exit was. I got to hold Bruce's hand for a good 5 seconds, and he gave me his guitar pick! :D He also called me awesome. First Bruce concert, neverrr going to forget it.

  • you held his hand after the show when he left in his car?

  • No, when they were just leaving the colisseum from the exit near the stairs. The one right next to the railing.

  • thanks...!

  • I was there too - what a fun surprise!

  • Please post the song Waiting on a sunny day. That was my son singing with him. On 5/4/09 at Nassau
