they need to sell these old le mans races in their entirety in DVD sets!! the commercial rights holders of these old races could make quite a bit of money if the video was remastered
racing would probably earn more fans that way anyway because when u showed someone how much balls these guys have by running at those speeds, i bet that they'd take some interest in the sport.

As the commentators said in part 1, the DRIVERS were scared at how fast they were approaching the Mulsanne corner and that massive bump just before.
Maybe with modern aerodynamics, braking and safety it'd be ok, but a single failure could still cause a massive off with potentially fatal consequences.

don't blame ACO for screwing Group C. Back then ACO only organized Le Mans, World Sportscar Championship and thus Group C regs were in the hands of FIA...
Ive been waiting to see 1989 24 Hours 0f Le mans.Its too bad that was the last year they had the Mulsanne straight away and put two Dumb Ass chicanes and the fall of Group C car era.
Man i miss those days, wish time machines existed so we could take a look again then.

Young Bob Varsha, I believe Michael Shumacher raced with Mercedes in 1989.
