@ISSEqwimby321 if your playing in full screen and u minimize the game will your playing and go full screen again that will most likely happen. You might have to relaunch the game to fix it after it happens. But there are some maps out there that actually have black and pink textures because they were made to look like that. Could be either or.

I've got a great idea.

Lets make the game REAL freeware and let ANYONE download and distribute the game like we do with REAL freeware.

Given that Half Life 2 sold over 6 million copies and that, at the same time, we overcharge people to download games that amazon has on a REAL CD for half the price,I think we could do that.

Given that I.D. software gives out there source code every couple of years SURELY we could do that?

no, it means that you have a limited time to download , but once you have it you can play forever. the download will be gone though. if you remove the game from your computer, your steam account knows that you once had it and you can download again. so you bascially keep the game if your on time.
