I hate it when people put in there 2 cents and have not even tried it. It is un f-ing real. A small amout of mushrooms would open your mind. It's not a bad thing. I trip atleast 1 time a year and will continue to do so until I pass. Keeps me on the right track. And I also suggest smoking weed every day. @FuntaDan In rare cases, and only with really prolonged use - and paranoia and memory loss are short term effects. Trust me, so many people smoke weed every day and don't suffer any issues. There are very few unfounded medical studies which suggest that marijuana use is detrimental to your health - hence why taxing and legalisation is up for voting in California this year.

A false sense of reality is what comes with hallucination, think about it, for one second, when you start to do these things your sense of what's real and what's not gets totally fucked up. You'll see patterns that don't exist, you'll feel things that aren't there and worst of all you'll believe you understand things that you don't. It destroys reality and in this world reality is something that everyone single person needs to be able to see.
You only get a false sense of reality if you are foolish enough to forget that you are hallucinating. If you aren't intelligent, content and logical you should probably stay away from hallucinogens as your chances of a negative/ damaging experience increase heavily. The repercussions may not be immediate but they can occur in the form of HPPD and powerful dreams. Psychedelics, when taken properly (and there is a proper way) show us how great it is to love for the sake of loving.

I hate it when people put in there 2 cents and have not even tried it. It is un f-ing real. A small amout of mushrooms would open your mind. It's not a bad thing. I trip atleast 1 time a year and will continue to do so until I pass. Keeps me on the right track. And I also suggest smoking weed every day. Keeps me focoused and Motivated on my actual goals hopes and dreams.

@FuntaDan In rare cases, and only with really prolonged use - and paranoia and memory loss are short term effects. Trust me, so many people smoke weed every day and don't suffer any issues. There are very few unfounded medical studies which suggest that marijuana use is detrimental to your health - hence why taxing and legalisation is up for voting in California this year.

@FuntaDan Sorry man, you misunderstood. I was saying that the schizophrenia is only in rare cases and with prolonged use, and the paranoia and memory loss are short-term effects, they wear off with the rest of the drug.
As for "that's the way the government is, you can't change it" - yes, we can. For example, if Californians vote Yes on Prop 19 this year in their ballot, it will be legal to grow your own marijuana and buy state-taxed marijuana from licensed dealers if you're over 21.

A false sense of reality is what comes with hallucination, think about it, for one second, when you start to do these things your sense of what's real and what's not gets totally fucked up. You'll see patterns that don't exist, you'll feel things that aren't there and worst of all you'll believe you understand things that you don't. It destroys reality and in this world reality is something that everyone single person needs to be able to see.

You only get a false sense of reality if you are foolish enough to forget that you are hallucinating. If you aren't intelligent, content and logical you should probably stay away from hallucinogens as your chances of a negative/ damaging experience increase heavily. The repercussions may not be immediate but they can occur in the form of HPPD and powerful dreams. Psychedelics, when taken properly (and there is a proper way) show us how great it is to love for the sake of loving.

Salvia is the closest thing to DMT, which is the most powerful drug on the planet. To prepare for my first DMT trip, I'm gonna smoke salvia everyday for like a month. DMT is the chemical responsible for alien abductions, Ghosts, Near death experiences, and most likely dreams. It's been known to change someone. Actually CHANGE them, just becasue it's THAT intense.

Probably because Salvinorin A is a kappa-opioid recepter agonist whilst LSD, Psilocybin and pretty much every other psychedelic act on the 5HT-2 seretonin recepter set. As you say, it really is away in a class of its own.
