Even though Disney is terrible with their shows now, at least they are finally playing THE LION KING, so great classic movie, but they should have played it back in the day with all of the great shows during the 2nd - 3rd ERA of DISNEY CHANNEL.

It's good to see original Disney this is what I grew up on, from the 90's til now i have seen the chance, so God please send our good family programming especially Disney. So I'm glad i can actually still find those music videos and old clips from Disney. This is what i show my children one day

I hate to be the one to bring this up. It's just, I've noticed that the, ahem, size of the actors and actresses has significantly..slimmed down. Here, not one actor or actress is necessarily "thin" nor "fat". Each one is, seemingly, proud and confident of his or her natural body-whatever shape it takes. They all appear healthy and genuinely happy. I think, deeply reflecting, this is one of the things I miss on Disney Channel. Real, genuine happiness with themselves and each other.
Honestly after Hannah Montana started and That so Raven left it just all went down hill...

if you compare the old disney channel stars to the current disney channel stars, you could see that the old has a very good future for all of them. but for the currnet ones, they have drug problems, family problems etc.... life before was a lot simpler than the way it is now. i wish we could turn back time... :(

These shows were what disney channel was all about. It was more about life lessons, family unity, and having a great time enjoying life. Now its all about Miley cyrus the popstar, Demi doing a show about a show (stupid concept), and other self absorbing things. I wish they would show Phil of the Future, Thats so Raven, Proud Family, Lizzie Mcguire, Suite life of Zach and Cody, and Even Stevens. These are all great shows and actually produce a good and well being message towards the audience.
I'll admit, I love Demi, I don't mind Selena, but don't get me started on Miley... and these guys were amazing, oh man, I still remember coming home from school and pretty much living in my basement because I would watch these shows back to back until I went to bed! Now if I go to Family Channel, I'm lucky if I find anything I want to watch

if you compare the old disney channel stars to the current disney channel stars, you could see that the old has a very good future for all of them. but for the currnet ones, they have drug problems, family problems etc.... life before was a lot simpler than the way it is now. i wish we could turn back time... :(

@gennaison1 how on earth are they going to bring them back, they are all adults. The only way they could bring them back would be to recreate the show and have these people star as the parents of the main characters.

god i just listened to this and i am getting the chills Even Steven was one of my fav i miss it and all the old Disney shows and movies i mean the new Disney is not bad i like wizards of Waverly place but nothing will replace the good old Disney from when i grew up it will be the best and always be the best in my eyes

What I think is that the kids and teens of today will miss today's Disney Channel too... and will be like that forever... and they will say the same a lot say, that that was the best Disney channel because they will grow up with that... they will consider their Disney stars as the best... so in my opinion Disney Channel is the best, before, now and in the future. :)

I can't believe how many years have passed already. I missed these years when we we're excited to go home just to watch Disney. I wonder what they're doing right now. I rarely see all of them in TV right now. It's not that I'm bashing the new stars or anything.. it's just that I really miss these guys.

These shows were what disney channel was all about. It was more about life lessons, family unity, and having a great time enjoying life. Now its all about Miley cyrus the popstar, Demi doing a show about a show (stupid concept), and other self absorbing things. I wish they would show Phil of the Future, Thats so Raven, Proud Family, Lizzie Mcguire, Suite life of Zach and Cody, and Even Stevens. These are all great shows and actually produce a good and well being message towards the audience.

I'll admit, I love Demi, I don't mind Selena, but don't get me started on Miley... and these guys were amazing, oh man, I still remember coming home from school and pretty much living in my basement because I would watch these shows back to back until I went to bed! Now if I go to Family Channel, I'm lucky if I find anything I want to watch

It means they are just very sad and don't feel like anyone else in the world could possibly understand. I can only imagine the pressures of being famous and your own inner pain you can't let other people see. Demi has been awfully strong through all of this. You need to be careful with what you say.

they dont even play any music videos on disney channel anymore, and radio disney is not even on direct tv anymore, i was like WHAT!!!!!!!! cuz disney has so many songs from the late 90s till 2008, cuz thats when disneys music was around, like where the heck did radio disney go? for real
