Costa Rica - Where heaven and earth meet

Costa is amazing and my most favorite place on Earth. But I'm a little disappointed so much of it has turned into a place for Americans to retire, just "another Florida." Costa Rica is no place for golf courses and sprawling plantations. There are no native grasses in Costa Rica, which means the majority of open space is meant to be jungle. Cattle ranching there is devastating to the habitat for the exotic birds and other wildlife. Have respect for biodiversity when you visit. It is so rich.

So much to see in the world!

Makes me sad that I spend most of my days in the daily grind, just getting older.

Also reminds me to be grateful for the sights I have had a chance to see, places I've been able to go, and people I've been able to meet.

There's got to be a better way though... to make the most of life. I need to figure it out.
