I saw that movie when I was very young. According to my understanding, since he was a disciplinant monk trained to bear corporal suffering, the lab could be quiet on the rack. I like the guy brave, good-hearted, and tough. If someone can tell me the name of that film, he or she will be appreciated.
A man should be branded with the mark of the company or man that owns him. It helps to instill the fact that he is property. A brand should have phycial and mental components to it.
yea bad acting..no normal human could take it like that.. yea slowly close ur eyes and just dont notice the pain...rofl he should have at least pressed his lips together but there was NO reaction to the pain at all
@Depalla .. It don't hurt that much... really... Like accidentaly touchin the heaters in the oven when you're takin the food out.. only bitches make a fuzz over that... But I guess I'm not normal.. ;) never did say I was..
This is from the film The Valey of the White Elephant, I've seen it once on tv, and been trying to get it since. Didn't manage thou, don't even know the original name, what I've seen was a translation. As for the acting, he is playing a trained monk and the dream-escape sequence was cut out from this video.
OK so it's a movie. But in reality, I'm about the same age as the guy in the film & I'm pretty good with pain, but I wonder if I could take that branding with so little reaction. Those burns were serious.
I am interested in my responses to pain & have tried various things with a mate. including small brands. We did it to prove we could, to learn more about ourselves & to build strength of character, but I doubt I could be that stoical.
Yes animals may go though this with out anesthesia but there skin(usualy done on there behind) is much tougher then our skin and much thicker. Just thought i would add that so no one started a fight about it ^_^
And yet, countless domestic farm animals go through this process without anesthesia...oh, well, no need to bring that here. What movie is this from, exactly?
What is the name these film?

I think fire branding is kinda hot... but I didn't really like this scene. I'd prefer little brands rather than big horrible ones.
