How about a star trek/babylon 5 crossover... species 8472 vs. the Vorlon. First put sheriden asking that Vorlon what's in store for the future... vorlon: (tsss) "darkness". Have a cut of sheridan being caught off guard by some unknown alien force, next thing you know... 8472 come through the vortex. And are quickly repelled by Vorlons. That would be awsome, have Janeway, Picard chatting it up with Sheridan upon the matter. Then cut with a planet killer by both 8472 and that Vorlon mothership

Voyager SO wasted Species 8472.

They introduce a species that slaughters the borg and could've been a looming threat to the Federation even once Voyager escaped the Delta quadrant. So of course they have the Voyager crew technobabble them into submission within a single episode. *sigh*

A massive Species 8472/Borg war would've made an awesome backdrop for the later Voyager seasons and beyond...

@irrevenant3 The premise of the show constrained them too much in what they could do. If they did do an 8472-Borg War storyline for more than a few episodes the complaints would just be that VOY should've moved beyond their warzone (since they're always moving) and if they played any part in the war the complaint would just be "They're having too big an importance to the War for one ship".

That and folks were already PO'ed that they dared make an enemy who could fight the Borg.

@ShadowSonic2 The show's premise is that Voyager face a long, dangerous trek home through uncharted terrain. That premise would only be enhanced by having to make their way through the shadows of warring gods.

A Borg-Species8472 warzone could easily cover the Delta Quadrant and beyond. Voyager's role would be that of wildcard, mostly trying to survive, sometimes tipping the balance of individual fronts. FAR preferable to them resolving the war singlehandedly as they did in "Scorpion"...

videon tekeminen oli ajotuksen kohdalleen saannin takia aika lailla tuskaa mutta kyllä ne sieltä ne puhe osuudetkin omat kohtansa löysivät ja sitte vielä toi oma frapsini ei suostunu ottamaan kohtaa jossa species 8472 poksauttaa planeetan ilman aivan hirveetä pätkintää, joten jouduin ottamaan kohtauksesta ainakin 10 eri versiota ja lopullisessa leikkauksessa otin pienen palan clippiä pois.
