that's a nice vid you made here. yea, i have two traps set as we speak but I'm not holding my breath as i set these traps many times last year with no luck. I pump exhaust in my gopher holes with apparent success but those holes are much deeper and sealed underground. If your tunnels are intact try running a hose from your car's exhaust pipe or other engine into the hole. it sounds silly but it has worked for my gopher problem. good luck.
@Yowzarrific So I have this vid favorited, had forgotten why and viewed it to remind myself. No answer to my initial question, so I did what was warranted first-searched it. Traditional American Folk Song. Then I realized the stellar job this dude did on his video. Props, yo!
@prettydoll1977 PRetty, I saw a 5 foot long black rat snake run away from me when i drove into my driveway the other day. It wan into the bushes near where a lot of mole activity has been spotted... I first thought to kill it, then I thought maybe it will eat the moles... the snake stays
@jbraly living in Portland, Oregon we don't have alot of snakes. Every is shocked that I even have a mole in my little urban garden. I am beyond fustrated with it!
@prettydoll1977 Thatss insane... yeah, imagine having a quarter acre, well manicured front yard only to sink 2 inches when you walk in it... oh, the evil thoughts I have had if I were to catch one alive.. I would make a civil war battle field surgeon look like Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.
@DreStinson TERRIBLY! Moles still exist. I found ONE dead one one day outside of its hole, a very small one. But it seems the best defense is a cat or dog, neither of which I want the responsibility of taking care of.

I'm going to try mothballs.

@123scottrob My brother has a huge garden and one cat... cat catches an average of 2 moles per day. A cat is by far the best moth repellent.
