Pay attention to how small the depth of field is, which makes taking video with the 20mm an infuriating experience. Like when you see her move it to a new object and the camera has to hunt for (at least) two seconds to find focus:<
@CarbonWaterCalcium If you want a higher depth of field just step down the aperture. Thats why people like to use the f1.7 is that everything not directly in focus is blurry. The Bokeh looks beautiful to me.
I've just upload the video to the comment which is without sound editing, maybe you can check if there is any autofocus noise. To my opinion, it works smoothy and quiet :)
@bjadan Hi, thanks for the good question. I think the light change is coming from the auto adjustment of the GH1, I did remember that I have not change any setting of the camera neither the interior light (all of us were eating :p), also I have not modified the clip in the post production. Feel free to ask anything :) (sorry about my poor English.)
@dAAAb Thanks for the reply! I've just ordered the GH2 with the 14-42mm kit lens, and the 20mm 1.7, so I'm curious to find out everything about it before its arrival! ;-)
Great video keep up the good work.

Hi, all:
Yes, the 20mm 1.7 did autofocus well.
I've just upload the video to the comment which is without sound editing, maybe you can check if there is any autofocus noise. To my opinion, it works smoothy and quiet :)

@dAAAb Did you shoot this using Auto ISO? And at 1:18, was it the interior light that changed, or did you choose a different setting?

Is it true that the aoutofcus of this lens is noisy? do you have a sample video where we can hear the autofocus working?
Thanks!

Hey daaab, does the 20mm 1.7 autofocus, or is it a wire focus system ?
