I just watched this video now, and you may be over it by now. But if not, its not like you are leaving us forever. Our paths crossed once, its likely it will happen again. The same with everyone else you are close to. Dont look at it as a loss or a mistake. Like you said about taking a jump in the deep end. Take the dive, if it doesn't work out you can always come back to the shallow end and hang with us.
Plus we be film makers, we bound to run into each other again.
I'm going off to college soon too, and it's a little scary for me.. Luckily the college I'm going to is only an hour from home, but i'm still nervous about going out on my own. I just don't feel as mature as I should be for my age..
Anyway, good luck to you at college. Let's hope we both survive. haha.

I've moved over 12 times in my whole life, and I'm only 16. Everytime was incredibly scary, especially changing schools, meeting new people. But, once you've settled in, you feel great.
