Its not a valve or anything like that. It is the hydraulic tappets or lash adjusters, whatever you want to call them. Almost all overhead cam engines will start making this noise eventually. It wont hurt anything just annoying sound.
valve tap! happens all the time in DOHC cars from running it too hard while cold or revving it too high. syn oil change may help. but mist likely needs new buckets of lifters, whatever those motors have under the cams
Mine doesn't. Mine hardly makes a sound and it's the same model and year as this car. There must be something wrong with this car. Maybe what daniel216 suggested.
you need to adjust the valves. nothing happens its just gets annoying

I get this with my V6 accord too. It usually only does it when I am low on oil.

The exhaust side is adjustable...the intake valves are not...

there's no adjusments for this type of valves-
hydraulics. I've got a 95 .noise goes away after warmup. I,d say drive the way it is .That's a honda .

mine 2.7 V6 sounds exactly the same, and my exhaust is healthy so i guess thats how it is.

No man its one of your valves dont keep driving it get it fixed trust me I had the same problem and just got the head rebuilt for for around $80

hey dude that is lifter and valve noise all you have t do is get them adjusted and a good syn oil change will do the trick.

i know what it is. you will need to get your exhaust system checked. i have a 1997 honda accord EX-R V6.
