"created in sex?" that's not accurate. i'm not even sure what that means, lol. but, "cis" is a latin term derived from chemistry. cis and trans are both chemical pre-fixes. otherwise, a great and articulate video!
check out the channel QueeringFeminism. I did a video that explores the organic chemistry terminology concerning trans and cis... and then I talk a little about how it applies to the Queer community. It's slightly disjointed... but a good watch. Perhaps you have some knowledge to contribute. it would be welcomed and appreciated!
Jessica this was a very good video about the issues you talked about,And as far as the whole gay marriages thing go's the US is living in the ice age.not like here in Canada were gay marriages are allowed Kiss Kiss.
I've never been able to comprehend that as people with more knowledge and understanding than any generation before us we are still not smart enough to realize we have more in common than we have differences, and all the labels do is perpetuate that divide used to dominate and conquer. Can't we all just get along. Thanks for being sweet Jessica...peace.
Wow hon. I'm looking for intelligent conversation and dialog. Not attitude and judgment. Sorry but apparently I've seriously misjudged your abilities in that area.
cis and trans are a prefixes from chemistry. They always have been and they always will be. Thats why Harry B. called us transsexuals, he got the prefix from chemistry. Check any basic chemistry text book, its been that way for a hundred years at least...created in sex? What the fuck does that even mean lady? If you are looking for a non-trans word, try Harry Benjamin Syndrome. A bunch of jerks use it, but you would probably agree with them.
Thank you for this!!
