@bret813 You actually suck man. Yes, you suck man as in you suck men. I don't give a fuck about the modern day. Also, this is a form of Ninjutsu. Ninjutsu can be applied whenever, wherever. Maybe you should develop an open mind, instead of a closed one . It seems to be a trend running amongst people whom only think about the shitty modern era like yourself. Good day to you.
@Haku92292 not a fraud? really? I think you better do some more research on the bujinkan, check out shinobi soldiers , antony put out 2 challanges 2 the bujinkan not one of you " ninja" masters responded..things that make ya go hmmmm.....

Thank you but I'm not a beginner. ChosonNinja is crap, please don't watch him. He claims everything is Korean, from the Ninja, to the whole Japanese population. All Japanese people will agree with this statement, just look up Houzan Suzuki Sensei's channel.
Oh I just meant in skill level. I don't know about where he claims origins from. Just in terms of his craft (and I've seen a lot of senseis in my time) the guy is in the top 0.1%. He has trained every aspect of his martial arts to a very high level. His strikes (esp. punches) look very powerful
I see you've got a lot of projectile videos (shuriken, blow darts etc...). you should load up some of your punches, kicks, strikes training.
If I upload those, it would be silly, unless I had a training partner. I may consider it when I can upload videos though. I've been doing this for 3 years now.
Yes I know, but this isn't meant for far distances. Its ment to surprise an attacker who plans on surprising you from behind. I'll make it again, along with some other throwing variations.
One i like to practice is running away and then turning around real quick and doing a normal or side throw. I'm still new to this, and you show more skill than I can.
I forget that techniques name, but thats something I want to try. I'll make a bunch of video showing techniques. I'm better now than I was month and beyond ago when I showed a few, so I want to redo them. You'll get better, trust me. Just stick with it, and clear your mind when throwing. I noticed it helps not thinking of sticking the shuriken. Its something Suzuki Sensei practices.
lets call it the Genghis khan, he doesn't get much mention anymore and he was an interesting historical figure. I read somewhere that it is believed that more people have him in there family tree than any other know person.
you can use small medal bars and a cardboard box full of card board and maybe a wood back to practice on. That way you don't need to throw as hard to stick and can work on technique rather than power, which is more important in the beginning. The blades don't need to be as sharp either. Also practicing on wood can dull the tip in my experience, but I'm still new to shuriken jutsu so maybe its just my shurikens or something.
The shuriken in Korisuya seem cheaper and is a better deal than other shuriken stores. I wouldn't suggest using cardboard. There are small mats maybe around 12x12 that are sold in the dollar store, you could always buy a bunch of those.
yea but thats not the real korean ninja way to use high quality shuriken, you want to use shitty home depot metal and poison yourself with fumes and then use a video editing program to fake your throws, thats real suri gum sool
Sure is. But I use crap home depot metal too. I know how to work with metal however to keep it in good shape though. i blacken mine with olive oil. It keeps the rust away. When there in the fire I occasionally take them out, them with a rag soaked with oil on it too. It works. Plus it prevents rust. I lose them all them time, and when I find them, they're still clean.
I don't as a target. I do as a backstop. I put a very thick piece of cardboard behind it incase I miss the target. If you've seen my old target, it had a huge hole in it from me missing. I got better in accuracy though.
these videos suck man, you should probably learn a martial art that is actual useful in this modern time

If you drop your landing leg another inch or two and raise your holding leg an inch or two you will gain a lot more power.

@8thsinner You'll have to ignore these videos when it comes to my current skill level. These are old. I need to make new videos soon.

you dont like america ? then please leave , hatsumi is a fraud , could not prove his lineage , what do you have to say about that ?
jamesinct 1 year ago
@jamesinct You can smd. Hatsumi isn't a fraud. You clearly have no knowledge of the subject. That's what I have to say about that.

@jamesinct Yeah, because they didn't respond to a stupid challenge, definitely constitutes them being so called "frauds".

hey haku. just came across this video and i gotta say, you're actually pretty good for a beginner!
Have you got a smaller target to throw at? It's harder but also a lot more fun
in case you're interested, you should check out chosonninja's channel. the guy is an absolute master and has heaps of tips for proper technique.
What sort of body conditioning do you do?
I'm not great with weapons but i just finished training camp for my kyokushin and the conditioning was brutal!
OSU!

I like throwing that way. At first I was only trying to hit the target, but now I'm working on accuracy.

you got quite some live hits, nice. I don't disagree with your distance though, shurikenjutsu wasn't meant to be so far anyways.
Shiiransama 2 years ago
you should do it with a little more distance. So close is really easy.

the Genghis khan might be a good name for that technique. He would frequently use the tactic of fake retreats in his battles.

I put canola oil on mine to blacken and I found it all rusty, I should try olive oil.
Shiiransama 2 years ago
Or vegetable oil. Suzuki Sensei uses something called Gun Blue too.
Haku92292 2 years ago
canola is vegetable oil :P. Isn't gun blue corrosive?
Shiiransama 2 years ago
i didn't know that. Its works for me though. It could be the steel you use. Try Corn oil. I've done that too. It works great.
