Yes, according to FTC guidelines, the majority of all SME idols were under slave contracts because they all either had excessive lengths and/or restrictive clauses. It's a term that's been used ever since the HOT situation in 2001. So, it's nothing new. The FTC made SME revise all of their current contracts. I don't usually go around giving out links because I don't like doing research for others but I'll make an exception this time. I'll PM you the article once I locate it.

Yes, according to FTC guidelines, the majority of all SME idols were under slave contracts because they all either had excessive lengths and/or restrictive clauses. It's a term that's been used ever since the HOT situation in 2001. So, it's nothing new. The FTC made SME revise all of their current contracts. I don't usually go around giving out links because I don't like doing research for others but I'll make an exception this time. I'll PM you the article once I locate it.

If you read my PM, like I said the term got started in 2001 during the HOT contract situation with SME. So if you're looking for how the slave contract term was born, you won't find it in any recent articles as it has been around for years before the JYJ vs SME situation. Please go do some research to find it if you're really curious. Once this new situation happened in 2009, it was once gain used by the media and everyone else. Regardless of whether you like the term or not.

So basically you want me to go and look up articles about HOT when the term was coined and give you the exact date that the FTC started using the term slave contracts? That's what you're saying right? Because I stated before in relation to the JYJ vs SME case, the term was not started but was simply brought back up from the fans and consequently the media. As I stated before if you want to know when the word came into use you would need to look that up for yourself.

I think you meant split since only a group can actually disband and usually the name goes away but that's not the case with DBSK. And it wasn't about the money as much as it was about their 13 year unilateral contracts with SME.

It's just a game they're playing. All five TVXQ members are on Tablo's radio show. They play a game where the youngest becomes the oldest. The members warn him that Changmin is very good at this game and always wins. He tells them to stop teasing him "haijima!" means stop in Korean. But it's all just a game and of course Minnie won. Yunho is saying "okay, we understand". This was for Mirotic promotion.
