The JCPenney at Meadowood Mall in Reno, Nevada also has a Montgomery hydraulic elevator, but it's got the older square fixtures (buttons in the cab as well on the two floors and the floor indicator in the cab), plus the older Montgomery globe & parallelogram logo.

well im not exactly sure if its an MT schindler hydraulic i mean all i know about it is that its a hydraulic the brand is schindler and the buttons are those square ones that have that little light on top thats all i know about it im not sure if its an MT or what i do know its not an HT series i stayed at a hotel once that had an HT series schindler but i didnt have a reason to ride it because the hotel gave us a 1st floor room

MT is the line on top square buttons HT can have vandail resitant with center jewl light or square buttons with full ilinmination and the bell sounds like a door bell going down like my Nordstrom video is schindler HT and RT is the round buttons the oldst seris

maby you can smell it real well at boscoves in monroville mall even from the 3rd floor that smel brings back mermeries I remermeber when I smelled it when I was little I think that know one liked that smell so they dont make that kind anymore

Hydraulic elevator have fluid that pumps through the system to make the elevator go up or down you can smell the fluid when it gets closer to your floor all hydralic fluid smells the same

Here's an interesting fact: the Valley View JCPenney used to be the first and only Bloomingdale's store in Texas! It lasted from 1983 to 1990. JCPenney moved in around 1996 or so.
