There are plenty of stereotypes that go back and forth between the two schools, but economic status is not part of it. If a Carleton student did make that kind of comment, he or she is an idiot. I think most of us know that any liberal arts college is expensive. About the singing lessons - most Singing Knights don't take them. Sorry if you weren't entertained.
