This might seem a little strange, but I've never really experienced a serious breakup, but I still find comfort in this song in getting closure over my failed career. I tried and tried very hard to make it work, but there was a lot o circumstances that made it difficult. When i got with the soon to be ex husband he had a tshirt , 1 pr of jeans and 1 pr of tennis shoes to his name, I saw a gem in the rough, helped him pay his bills off. supported him thru his career. School. When he walked out for the woman you described,. We were in a 300,000.00 house. that I busted my ass for. His social status went from nothing to he WAS ON TOP. But because of all the crap he has down. He has now crashed his finances.

@sparrowlightful IM SOO SRY.I know what you're feeling.We weren't engaged.But I love him more than anyone.I supported him the whole time he was in IRAQ and was loyal to him.NOW that he is out of the Military and has a new life.He barely talks to me.Im working on getting better everyday.But the memories are the worst part of the relationship.Many Blessing to you as well.

This is a great song, and I've heard it several times before, but right now I'm listening to it because I just had my heart broken for the first time in my life so now I can define what a heart break is. A heart break is a pitch black, all-consuming void that replaces the fire that used to burn in your heart. I can watch funny videos that usually always helps me when I'm down, and I will smile and laugh at them, but it'll only take a minute after the video for the void to consume me again.

Ironically, our email's were actually each other's names.. with the words "soulmate" and our wedding year... Ive told him she will not stand the test of time & stress. That I proved to be loyal to him up until he placed his hands on me & left me and our family, our home everything for her. She is a child and will jet as soon as it gets deep. He didnt say 1 word in response. Time will tell. And his little trinkets cannot buy loyality all of which she will not give. Oh well his loss.

This might seem a little strange, but I've never really experienced a serious breakup, but I still find comfort in this song in getting closure over my failed career. I tried and tried very hard to make it work, but there was a lot o circumstances that made it difficult. Among other circumstances was the fact that I didnt find affordable housing...now studying to become a Christian minister and feel much better in that calling...this is a good "closure" song period.

Try 15 yrs of a marriage. Soldier husband and I moved all over the US. Went thru MULTIPLE deployments raised a hous full of kids till adulthood.. Only then our retirement year. He leaves me for a 20 some year old. Couldnt' even man enough to tell the truth.
