I still find it difficult to hear Dusty singing without having a lump in my throat. Same with Kirsty MacColl. This is a real showstopper. Lovely to see Dusty being backed by great singers including Madeline (Bell), Sinead (O'Connor) and Alison (Moyet). A real tour de force. xx

@steve01274 I'd say the better Alison Moyet material is her later stuff - check out the gorgeous 'If You Don't Come Back To Me', 'Momma Momma'... in fact, everything she's done from the 90s onwards- all on YouTube - simply incredible. And this video is superb - many thanks for uploading.

Yeah Alison Moyet is a hugh Dusty fan, and even recorded material on a Dusty tribute album. Unfort. She did'nt get the recognition here in the states and her 2008 tour here was cut short.

It was only shows like Ready Steady Go and Top Of The Pops (don't know about American ones) that got her to mime - it's easier to produce that way. She was always live on 'The Dusty Springfield Show' that was shown on the BBC in the late 60's, scenes from which are on YouTube.
