Have you tried Rock Band? I'm not trying to start a music game war but in my opinion it's way better than Guitar Hero. They have new songs every week pretty much. Plus they have over 750 songs! Way better artists to.

I love rock band! Much better music, but I still buy GH because of the difficulty. I can beet almost anything on RB, I play on Expert Hyperspeed 2-3 so its hard to find a song that challenges me, GH is the only game that tries to be impossible. But yes RB is great, much better songs, dlc, and online play. Great community!
