I always get a kick out of this track from the first MC record. It reminds me of exactly what it should, campy home organ renditions of pop tunes. Except these are more electronica of hard rock/alternative tunes. People who know the originals shouldn't take these versions seriously.
This song is too tragic. The music sounds great though. Instead this song should be about humans and animals gaining superpowers once the sun is turning into a black hole, and flying off into space, visiting friendly planets and passing on their superpowers. Who thinks this is a cool idea for the song and the video? Please comment.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
who is the original person who wrote blackhole sun, because i know for a solid fact that it wasent soundgarden because this video alone was made in the 1980s. Someone please tell me, Who wrote it!
Moog Cookbook covered this on their album in 1995. (they also did a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit). Soundgarden released it on Superunknown in 1994.
OMG!!!! Just 1 person mentions Jellyfish on this video thread. Yes, one 1/2 of the MoogCookbook is Roger Joseph Manning Jr. formerly of Jellyfish. Guess the space suits really do work.
