@origbiznitchyo actually, Frank is Elizabeth's boyfriend, and both times he drops her off and the jet engine is about to fall, you can hear him honking a lot trying to warn them about the engine. he drives that red car, which passes Donnie in the beginning when he's biking back home. once the engine falls and Donnie dies, the unstable universe appears to others as a dream, and you see Frank touching his eye as others are waking up and reacting to the 'dreams.'

ok i think i understand donnie darko this is MY interpretation of it Donnie is stuck in a infinite time loop were within the days that frank told him if he doesnt save the world its going to end but the world isnt really going to end donnies going to go back in time and have to do it again till he gets it right, when he got to the house and he has the gun the world ends but he still fire off a bullet that nullet hit frank but since the world end its in the future so frank dies in the future

@SilverHammock I'm kind of the same. I love the original so much better. Directors cut is just better visually...with better effects and sound design. I however think the theatrical cut is way more open to interpretation and leaves much more mystery intact to the film.

@The180Curse Yes, because in the directors cut every chapter passes by with pages of the philosophy of time travel book which can explain lot, plus the deleted scenes also explain a lot but like you I prefer the original because of it's sense of mystery & better Music. Plus I think the song used in the party scene in the original was better as Joy Division than Echo and the Bunnymen in the directors cut. Overall it's an amazing film (One of my personal favorites) and I know what good films are.

That was very good indeed. You've pulled up some really clever clips, and I liked the way there's a lot of movement when the momentum in the song picks up.

Unfortunately I think you should've left out the spoilers and the repeat of his laughing in the latter half of the video. There are plenty of other good clips to use.

Overall though this was really enjoyable.
