Hovind is a public speaker and so a public figure, subject to the same criticism and open discussion as any other public figure, be it politician or actor, or any other person willfully submitting their views to the public. In the same way that comedy shows can make fun of Sarah Palin, or Al Gore, or any actor... it's not illegal to make fun of Hovind, or to call him a fraud. So yeah , go ahead and waste money suing, it would be a losing case.
