Hi Jared,

I wanted to find out, I'm not yet a partner but I'm wanting to use music in my videos. I've been researching heavily about royalty free CC music, but what makes you say NOT to use it when you're NOT a partner? I do have monetization happening, but I fear my channel won't ever be approved because I have some early videos that are infringing copyright. And I fear that I may need to start off fresh with a new channel in order to become a partner, any suggestions?

You should get a colored backdrop thingy or film in a corner so that the background doesnt draw attention and your videos look better in the suggestions pane, and so the lighting is more controllable. I was watching a previous vid in this series and you said colors draw the eye; I tested it right there and almost went and watched something else because of the shiny colors
