This Children is what you call.......REAL HIP HOP, listen to that flow, boys and girls.... we would call that intelligent world play and lyrical skill, where im from, that is....
@AstekOst lol thats the most stupid shit I have heard all day. You think hiphop is dead? hiphop can't die. Are you going to listen to 90's music for the rest of your life? Don't get me wrong, it's good music but should peep underground hiphop. If you don't search for good hiphop you won't find it, it's underground you only see shit on the surface aka mainstream hahah

wish i could turn on the radio and hear great music like this :( where can i buy this online. i would go shopping but most of the shops have been looted or burned down fucking rioting bastards
I miss the real rap, where the music was focused on lyrics and not beat... now its all crappy beats with cheesy ass lyrics... Lil Wayne? wtf! Jeru would pull a lyrical tsunami on Lil Wayne.
I remember my friend giving me the weirdest look and laughing at me when he found this album (on cassette) sitting on my dresser. I was about 15 at the time and couldn't be anymore puzzled as to why he ridiculed me for listening to such a hip-hop masterpiece. It made me realize how much more I was in tune with hip-hop than my other friends. I couldn't help but feel sorry for his ignorance.
This is the most torrential onslaught of pure, unrestrained lyrics I've ever been hit with within such a short space of time. They crammed more scientifical references and citations into 2 mins than all my science teachers combined over my entire school career.
This is real Hip hop compared to the garbage thats out today. I know Hip Hop this song is killing it and the beat is a straight up 1994 beat. Lets bring the flava back. Holla at ya boy this is (NUG) .
@TheExquisiteMusic Haha....I stay on my 90's shit....but there still is a handful of kids in this generation who I see listening to tribe called quest, big l, kool g rap, wu...real shit like that...i think only reason this is happening is cause they're looking at the sorry ass generation they are being raised up with currently....that, and probably they got some parents who grew up on the real shit like us.
If you're down with hip hop or ganjah, then peep the vids on my channel, make sure u google "Virginia's 4 Bubblers" & download the mixtape 4 FREE on datpiff.com

-11 YEARS AS ELECTRONIC ENGINEER AND COMPUTER ENGINEER
i never found this dude till like 2 years ago, i really dig it though, the mans got flow and some pretty slick off-beat beats... anyone recommend anything else like this? i got onto him through this thing he did with Groove Armada like 8-10 years ago but then i forgot and just came across a CD of his like a couple years ago
im sick of reading about people taking jerus world trade center references as some sort of prophecy. do your homework children, the WTC had a failed attack on it in 93. Thats why he references it, not the 2001 attacks.
Jeru predicted the commercialisation of hiphop taking aim at p diddy etc and the world trade centre is depicted burning on his album cover from 94 which is nuts...Cant stop the prophet!
i'm 13 and i listen to big l, rakim, mf doom, kool g rap, immortal technique, wu tang, 2pac, biggie, nas, army of the pharaohs, aesop rock, the roots, big pun, AZ, jeru the damaja, people under the stairs, del tha funkee homosapien, KRS-One, jedi mind tricks, etc. not all of it's old school shit but great artists. it pisses me off that most of my generation listens the new mainstream garbage. it's complete shit.
i respect that man. i'm 18 and my friends insist new rappers like lil wayne and other fucking losers are better. it's not even worth arguing anymore. they just don't get it
I feel ya dude I'm 19 and from New Orleans and I think Wayne is Trash, we need a KRS a Public Enemy a Gangstarr. One of the only artist I respect are Lupe and Eminem because of lylical context
Also Great MC's to have ever blessed the mic Iike there are so many Old School Artist that I like and that have paved the way for Hip-Hop It saddens me that this was hip-hop then and still kicks ass then the new stuff we have today because it sucks the artist we have today just want a pay-off
I agree Man I even forgot to say Del man he always beren slept on did you ever hear Delton 3030. Hey haave you heard Precise Science these catz are incredible comin out of Bmore
@smike17 ditto. im 17 n u just wrote my story lol .. i b trynna show off these amazin lyricists but this generation is just stubbborn. i stopped trying, i look at it as "its your loss" now.
@dashiznit95 im really feelin you bro. im 17 now and i literally listen to every single artist/group you just named since i was about your age. all my friends listen to that trash ass shit now cuz people dont like drinking and dancing to real rap. i dunno if you heard of him or not, but a few years after i started listeing to the wu and others real hard i found afu-ra..and he been my favorite since. look up a song by him called defeat
@dashiznit95 A 13 yr old listenin to that list there is beyond rare, but so refreshing! Intelligent kids listen to that, whilst sheep listen to commercial garbage.
then u listing to real MUSIC with this list i just dont see Pete Rock. I also check for the samples in their music and listen to it u will even enjoy music.
@dashiznit95 welcome to the club.I'm 14 and i also listen to those artists but i listen to more like gang starr,group home,gravediggaz,N.W.A.,Eazy E,Ice Cube,Geto Boys,Scarface,Bone Thungs N Harmony,Little Brother,Onyx,Mobb Deep,Digital Underground,the pharcyde,RZA,ODB,GZA,all of the wu-tang really,Public Enemy,MC Breed,Andre Nickatina,Brotha Lynch Hung,Blackstar,J Dilla,A Tribe Called Quest,De la Soul,Slick Rick,Ed OG & Da Bulldogs,Coolio,Compton's Most Wanted,Rakim,Cypress Hill,and alot more
and now sounds da bitchez!!
