I was a boy back then..my dad kept his cases of 50 out in the snow.....

I enjoy a glass or 2 of it....ya ya, get the "old man's beer comments,...surely your dad's had good taste, right?

We had a "beer box" a our camp on Remi Lake until they put hydro in on our road. A lot of people did, I suppose. It would get so cold at night in the summer months that the ground stayed refridgerator cold all day.  Dig a hole, line it with a black trash bag, instant stubbie fridge.

My first waitressing job was running out to the beer box for stubbies of 50 and IPA for my dad and uncles.

Don't know why...I didn't drink this stuff...but I find that jingle in my head at least once a month ...Me and the boys and my 50...me and the boys..thats my beer. Jutst last month I sang it to a young girl in the line up buying 50 and she looked at me wierd. I couldn't help myself.
