@bestamerica Mecanums do not require steering wheels. They are omnidirectional and by choosing direction and speed of each wheel the robot can travel in any direction from any point. The purpose of this test was to prove they can drive a robot over this competition hump.
Hope this was helpful to your team. We use a 16:1 transmission so we actually have good pushing power as the simple Banebots transmissions are 12:1. A LOT of teams are indicating that they will go Mechanums. If you want to get an edge, you'll need to urge your team to think outside the box. Good Luck! I hope you team does well!
