this is by far the ugliest car i have ever seen. worse than a subaru tribeca (old version), worse than a honda element, worse than even the regular h2. why would anybody buy this over a chevrolet colorado 4x4 or a GMC canyon 4x4? the brand? you will be paying at least $6-7,000 more for a badge and some ugly wheels.

Even if global warming wasn't an issue, Overusing a precious and limited resource like oil hurts so many industries like airlines, trucking ,as well as hurts the prices of the products they transport. Most over-sized SUV's are driven for non practical purposes and hamstring our whole economy.

I do agree that "most" people do use a large truck's & SUVs' on road most of the time in which a car would be a better option. Still some people do use them for their intended Purpose just like all other truck's & SUVs'. It seems to me that your problem is with the people who drive large trucks & SUV's on road 98% of the time & don't have anything to tow or haul.

That is 150% correct. I just don't think that people should use Hummers for their intended purpose. I think that if you need a vehicle to tow or haul stuff there are much better options than a Hummer. Many lighter pickup trucks would do just fine for the hauling that average people do (not carrying boats to and from the beach house). I just really dislike the statement that people make when they buy Hummers, which is usually "I'm rich and don't give a fuck about the environment, so suck it."

I do aggree that the H2 is impractical but the H3 is more efficient and smaller. If you don't like the way the Hummer look's that's cool, the Contemporary style is not for everyone.

And don't tell me off-roading, because no one does, definitely not enough to justify Hummers existing. The worst part is that people actually buy them.
