if you have a car, you couldve let your friend use it. Or if you dont have one you couldve kept it. Took it to school let everyone use it. Anything would have been better and helped you out alot more, although the car is a pile you can still have fun with it :)
@hooverskins this car was already wrecked, it has a bad motor, and an accelerator pump is on a carbed motor, it squirts some gas into the carb everytime u pump the gas
ooh and now your going to blow up a GEO TOO?!?! great job on the FESTIVA, im really inspired to go be a real mechanic JUST LIKE YOU! its not the equipment , its the operator...
@stroker383vega if i wanted to blow it up,i would have eld it to the floor,i just wanted the motor to clear out and run better, in which it didnt. im not a mechanic, i could be one very easily, and i tink you need to stop leaving jackass comments on my videos.
Also if it is a carb you need to adjust the choke, tune it and set the idle. You shouldn't need to pump it nearly that much, you start it up and let it idle for 5 minutes and it's good to go.
yeah i gave up on mine, sold it so i'm down to my beater van and my truck, soon to get rid of the van so i only have to pay for my truck's insurance, then i can save for a newer Denali
hey man, its a TBI! i had a geo and i also have a workshop manual on it, and i am a member of a metro forum. so its not a carb. if you don't beleave me look it up. its a TBI not a carb! and i have an idea, since its rusted and its broken and everything, i have an idea! BLOW UP THE ENGINE!!!! LOL! rev it past the redline and keep it there! that would be sweet to see! lol!
Hey bud, I don't think it's carbureted. That's a 1989-1994 Metro, and they had Throttle-Body Fuel Injection. TBI units do look like a carb, though. One way you can by is by looking down the unit while pumping the throttle. If you see gas squirting, it's a carb. Otherwise, it's TBI.
24car, you don't know what you're talking about. This car is the same as a Suzuki Swift, but distributed by GM a few years back. Has absolutely nothing to do with Ford.
put in more gas

ashho56 1 year ago
@ashho56 It's a TBI, so all pumping it during crank would do is make it run super lean.

"I dunno why this car is such a pile"
Because you just pump the pedal as if that will make it run.
If no one works on the car(regardless of the make/model) to fix it, then it's a pile.
ArkJinRa 2 years ago
it normally does dickhead.
ashho56 1 year ago
Go pump your pedal some more.

Look on the body of the "carb" and tell me the part number. Also i'd like the see the throttle linkage if it's a carb.
