I feel ya sister, my babies weighed 9lb 12oz(#1) and 8 lb 12oz(#2). This test kicked my butt, i felt like i had little wild gremlins inside doing the marcarena. As soon as they were over, my pregnant rear end went to Mcdonalds and i drank anything i could get my hands on... that wasn't orange. Good luck!

I drank it at work. It REALLY wasn't as bad as everyone said it was. However, mine was super cold and came in a glass bottle. It was rather like orange soda, which I had a slight addiction to during my pregnancy. Can't wait for Baby Boy Cass!!

I feel for you. That is the nasty! WHY can't they make any other flavor than orange? LOL I had such a problem with orange drinks my first pregnancy.

They made me drink it at the hospital, though. Then you sit around and wait to be tested. The four hour test, I had to do the second time around, is pure torture. AND I ended up with gestational diabetes then, too. That's no fun, so I hope you're safe. =D

They made me drink that crap when they tested me for hypoglycemia and that stff was TERRIBLE! Really (as you now know). Then they went all vampiric on me and started taking blood...a lot of blood. But yea...I feel bad for you having to drink that stuff.

I had to take a glucose test a year ago cause I was having health problems, diabetes runs in my family my aunt passed away from diabetes type 1 when she was 26 in March,2008 and I pray that I never get diabetes

ugh i had to take that test one time, but i wasn't prego. i had to drink that stuff and i just chugged it cause it tasted like flat orange soda to me. and i had to go to the lab and they took my blood 1 hour after, then i had to back after 2 hours, then 3, then 4. so be prepared cause it sucks eggs!
