Smith was a great player at his peak before the injury at united, he always gave 100% and would never back out of a challenge, in the end that was his downfall as his dedication caused the injury. A player of his quality would not belong in the lower divisions so if it was his own decision to leave or just because Leeds needed the cash then don't call him scum or a traitor since it was the only option for him.
