  • catchy! i like it.. but i have a hard time believing this was a schoolhouse rock?!?

  • @janenba352 You should not confuse communism with the lenin/stalin/ussr hypothesis on Marxism.

  • @janenba352 you are incorrect. Its a common perception what you stated but it is false. Communism is the furthest left you can go on the left right spectrum, at that point you have a model breakdown, with no laws whatsoever. Anarchism follows no laws as well. If you look at the seating arrangment of the original french parliment (from which this model has arisen) anarchists would sit at the point where communists do. Its just the word communism was not around yet.

  • Empereor was Alexander. (Alexander meaning "defender of man")

  • If only libertarian and ron paul tards watched this more... their utopian vision is a world of pirates, but what it would really be is a world of ten emperors instead of five. Which you think "oh, that's at least better... right?" Not necessarally. If power is the name of the game, too many overlords means no motivation to kill the other, too few means no motivation either.

Trotsky spoke of this on the concept of permanent revolution.

  • @BoneCzar How did you reach this conclusion? The United States is Alexander and Rome on steroids.

  • @BoneCzar what the fuck are you talking about? Libertarians want less leadership. So no not ten emperors instead of 5, rather 1 emperor instead of 5. Or better yet, none at all if we are talking anarchism.

  • @BoneCzar No you asshat, we want a government that doesn't take it upon itself to overthrow governments it doesn't like which later comes back to bite us in the ass.

  • fuck tha rentiers

  • I love how even Americans agree on they being an empire.

  • What does terrorist have to do with pirates?Plz help?

  • @Tyler12236 Pirates engaged in terrorist like activities

  • @Tyler12236 Its showing that the U.S. war against Terrorism is unjust because we funded terrorists and now we're against them, just like an Emperor can hire people to pirate but call them soldiers, while a person who pirates for themselves is wrong.

  • The funny part is Israel was one of Iran's main weapons suppliers while the US was arming Iraq to attack Iran ...

  • @Ceallachain100 Where did you learn that?

  • Epic ending!

  • This is scary and terrible

  • @Tyler12236 yet true

  • @Tyler12236 The truth hurts, doesn't it?

  • Not aired on ABC.

  • This video is just awesome,

  • At first I totally thought this was real, from Schoolhouse rock. So realistic....the lady doing it sounds like Schoolhouse rock.

  • Is real? Like an actuall SHR????

  • @7WishingStars No, its not.

  • So good

  • School House Truth!

  • I Love IT!!! I'm Surprised This Hasn't Been Shown On Politically Incorrect...Oh, I Now...Because There Is No Politically Incorrect Anymore. This Is The Most Correct Explaination Of Politics I've Seen In A Looonnnggg Time. BRAVO!!!

  • 211 people can't stand exposure.

  • This is brilliant. We should buy a commercial slot during the next Super Bowl and get this shown!

But I agree with @TotalPirateLuvva . Schoolhouse Rock definitely didn't produce something this controversial.

  • this is absolutely NOT schoolhouse rock

  • to paraphrase what woodscraps1 said "Looks like 210 people ate a nice big bowl of statist hypocrisy for breakfast" Aren't you 210 people all good sheeple!

  • fake.

    Excellent but not Schoolhouse Rock

  • 208 people hate freedom and justice.

  • Very well done, and skilled lyric-writing too! Rarely has a lesson like this made me tap my toes.

  • @AlexReynard Seriously! "Conjunction Junction what's your function?" has got some competition for best children's educational music video.

  • Big or small I'm still F***ed

  • AARGH. It's pronounced "aw-GUS-tin," not "AW-gus-teen." Ruins the whole joke.

  • 0:02

    That's what she said.

  • Okay, I believe in your right to post this and express your opinion. That's a basic right.

But please don't do it in Schoolhouse Rock form. Please.

  • Ron Paul 2012 :)

  • @DustinThePooper Ron Paul is a right-winged anti-freedom pig.

  • @TwoOldOaks You are highly mistaken. Bush 2.0, I mean Obama, is anti-freedom and a complete scum. Ron Paul is a libertarian. Anti-government, anti-tyranny, pro-civil liberties.

  • @janenba352 And also not against the separation of church and state. Anarcho-communism is the way.

  • @TwoOldOaks yes he is...

  • @janenba352 "The notion of a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers."

Ron Paul, Christmas in Secular America, 2003

And even if he were against the separation of church and state, he is a delusional capitalist.

  • @TwoOldOaks he is 100% right, no where in the constitution does it state there must be a rigid separation, but he understand that general fact that the separation is needed. He greatly disagrees with Rick Perry's notions of a completely christian nation.

And whats so delusional about wanting to end NAFTA and the worthless trade stipulations we currently have. They don't offer any form of balance to trade. True free trade is whats needed.

  • @janenba352 I understand what you are thinking, that free trade would mean freedom of the people. But it won't bring freedom, only chaos.

  • @TwoOldOaks "that free trade would mean freedom of the people. But it won't bring freedom, only chaos."

You are very confused. The inviolability of the mutual, voluntary private contract is a fundamental right.

    Fuck off, slaver.

  • @mikemat3307 I am no slaver, I am an anarcho-communist. But I am confused, and not exactly the best debater in the world.

And about free trade, I think Somalia is a prime example of how well anarcho-capitalism and free trade work.

  • @TwoOldOaks Anarcho-communist? That seems like an oxymoron if you ask me considering you're calling for both no state and complete state control at the same time. Also the Somalia argument is null and void considering how many dictatorships go through there all the time, and the lack of any sort of freedoms for its people. Free trade is the best way to allow people to create peace and a decent monetary policy instead of the statist crap we have today. True Freedom leads to true understanding.

  • @pwnurnoobazz Communism =/= state control, but the economic balance between all people and that no one person owns more than the other. Thus leading to peace and prosperity in which all children of Earth can do what they wish to do without anyone or -thing pushing them to do something.

Freedom of trade would only lead to complete control of the world by companies. They would sacrifice every last human being in the world just for a few percent more income.

  • @pwnurnoobazz Have you read the Manifesto? It calls for the end of government. You are thinking Russia right? Well that wasnt communism, they didnt even follow the correct path anyway, nor did they even act like a communist nation. It is suppose to be from the bottom up and people choose it, and everyone is equal in the community and there is no need for government. But of course you prolly havent read the manifesto so you are confused in thinking what communism actually is

  • @pwnurnoobazz have u even read the manifesto? the final stage of marxism is communism, where there is no government

  • @pwnurnoobazz communism and anarchism are basically the same thing. I'm sorry our public education sucks so bad it leads to ridiculous statements like you just made. True freedom comes from having a basic education.

  • @subnoize123 not really. Communism believes in totalitarian principles. Anarchism does not. Communism does not believe in natural law, anarchism does.

  • @janenba352 I wouldn't argue so much Anarchists believe in natural law. Rather we simply believe that if humans are trusted, we're capable of being moral without cohersion. We see that moral trust in the way we conduct our day to day affairs outside the gaze of the law.

  • @mikemat3307 If you value free trade, you should vehemently oppose NAFTA and vehemently support opening the border. NAFTA includes numerous subsidies for US agribusiness but bans Mexican subsidies to their businesses and allows agribusiness firms to take over indigenous Mexican farms. And anyone who's read Adam Smith knows he understood that the free exchange of labour across "borders" is essential to all free trade.

  • I'm amused by the number of people taking this entirely seriously.

  • @ZeldaDD If you don't take it a little seriously, then you might be sitting there staring at the screen with your mouth open as drool dribbles down your chin and onto your ketchup-stained undershirt.

  • Nice song, but the Sandanistas were just as brutal as the Contras.

  • @17Spartacus76 This is true. If the US were really controlled by the good guys we should have wiped out both sides instead of picking the side that would let us do whatever 'we' wanted.

  • @17Spartacus76 And that makes our involvement okay?

It used to be that countries dealt with their own problems - the most we did was bail out a few countries with lower-interest loans. We never spread "freedom" at the barrel of a gun, because it cannot be spread in that manner. The Sandanistas were as bad (if not worse) than the Contras. But at least the Sandanistas were not seen as American puppets involved in wholesale slaughter in Latin America. THAT made it worse.

  • @dnissen2012

"And that makes our involvement okay?"

    Who said that? Not me.

It's supposed to make you question what your government is doing planting puppet dictators all over South America, Africa and the Middle East for the last 50 years.

  • wow i tought schoolhouse rock was a nwo kinda thing with all the yeey 4 tax vids this kinda blew my mind man awsome

  • nice parody of the real schoolhouse rock... try to put this one on tv. :)

  • So if this is really a schoolhouse rock video then why does it mention iran-contra which was in 85 if schoolhouse rock ended in the late 70's, this is just anti-american propaganda used to stain the rep of the Worlds Only SUPERPOWER the united states, those of you who say ya great spleez lie about our goverment, try living in afganistan ull be begging 2 com back

  • This is just outrageous so the US got it wrong why doesnt SHR mention Vietnam cause we werent trying to help anyone there. Maybe they could mention that Iran was in the 70s as bad as they are today. How can you compare the Government of the United States Democrat or Republican to a bunch of Terrorists. I would like to put the people who did this episode into a Somali Pirate Camp or a Iranian Prison Camp just to see if they "REALLY" compare to the USA. Big or Small thats just a load of Crap.

  • 202 people ate a big bowl of neo-con fail for breakfast.

  • like what is going on in Egypt right now

  • Who's tired of people trying to slip one-sided arguments past us via cuteness?

  • The FLSN were KGB funded and committed their share of war-crimes. How does that make them any more innocent than the contras?

  • @BuysBeer4Minors The point is that we need to keep our nose out of everyone else's F***ING business

  • First of all, we (the us) loaned money to the contras, to yes overthrow the government. But it was because we thought they were taking rights from the people.

  • @owls4life611

So they support an organization which engaged in torture, murder, and terrorism? Aren't they taking certain rights from people, as well?

  • Learning is fun.

  • The audio captions on here are hilarious. XD Just completely off.

  • Comment removed

  • This is so amazing!!! I can't believe I haven't seen it before. So refreshing... made my day.

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Only thing I have to disagree with is that Osama Bin Laden was not really a thug, he was a legitimate fighter resisting the Soviet Invasion and occupation. Saddam was a thug yes and massacred 100000 with the backing of the USA, but Osama untill 9/11 (assuming he was involved) was just your standard fighter who knows if he was good or bad, but his cause was legitimate.

  • @mamoderawat

Osama Bin Landen actually worked for the CIA get your facts right before posting stupid comments.

  • @KradiaLife ahhhh aint u a little sweetheart mwaaah darling. So did he have his own reserved parking space and private office? Seen his social security details have u, or maybe u and him got drunk at the 1989 Christmas party and fondled about a bit.

Heres what I stupidly think. Osama thought against the Russian invasion. Him and the CIA had the same enemy, so for several years it was mutually beneficial for the CIA to fund the Afghan resistance and the Aghan resistance to accept.

  • @mamoderawat Your point is correct but no one is going to listen to you if you're going to be a condescending dick about it.

  • this is great!

  • This is fantastic.

  • im taking it to school ad showing it in my history class

  • this is greeaat!!! thank you for making it ND POSTING IT.. THIS SI SOO BETTING FACEBOOKED!

  • 2:08-2:12 is the truth. all i gotta say.

  • BLOWBACK, BITCHEZ!

  • Excellent.

  • this reminds me of Animaniacs xD

  • BRILLIANT!! Love it.

  • This is a great schoolhouse Rock Parody! It's so true! Who made this cartoon?

  • if only SO MANY NITWITS WHO BELIEVED IN "MUSLIM TERRORISTS" WATCHED THIS THEY'LL LEARN SO MUCH.

    and 201 people were emperors

  • Catchy, anti-imperialist and pretty witty. But what the duck is up with this anti-duck message?

  • I'm pretty anti-duck as well.

  • How old is this one? It doesn't look the same...they make new ones?

  • @jerantrog This isn't even schoolhouse rock - somebody just borrowed SR's characters (like the blonde girl at 1:15) and motif and used it make a skewed video. Talk about not getting the whole story.

Now, I realize that the original schoolhouse rock didn't give the whole story in relation to historical landscape, but the original SR was made for elementary school children. This, obviously, was not.

  • @CryingCrimsonEyes Thanks. I thought so, but I couldn't remember. Lol. Thanks. :)

  • 199 people can't take the truth.

  • I have learned to live with the fact that as a nation and a people we are completely fucked,it's a hard pill to swallow and acceptance of the reality never really comes completely,it's way too much for me or anyone to take into one's self and not jump off a bridge or worse. So just remember absolute power corrupts absolutely, and everyone gets what they deserve in the end.

  • Brillant :)

  • Canada sucks.

  • This video serves as a lesson. Governments must be held accountable for their actions and that duty lies with the people. The US has done bad but the difference between us and other countries is that we have that want to fix the mistakes. We do that by voting, protesting, putting out information, and if all else fails force of arms as a last resort.

  • "'ey Chef, what's the special today?"

Chef (from South Park): Vegetable kish with a side of Abomination ROCK!

  • I cannot beileve this, they took some things the us did, took only the bad parts out of it and made it a song filled with scandalous lies.

  • you don't like Ameica, live in Russia. You don't like Earth, tell people you're a Martian

  • My only problem with this is that they make empires seem like a bad thing. All forms of governments have their cons and pros. An empire can work just as well as a republic. [Before anyone goes and throws, "Well what about democracies?" We don't live in a democracy; we live in a democratic republic. True democracy is where every single citizen has a voice in making the decisions of the state. We elect people to make the decisions for us.]

  • @aki009 well it's only a matter of time before this empire falls just as the others did. when we look at history by extending it greatly, a new empire will arise (New World Order?) and it will repeat again. Although with the technology these days I wonder what the systems will be like in the future.

  • The contras didn't want to live under a fucking communist government so they asked for help we helped them and thats it.

  • @mountainmanwv86 Oh, I see your point. Killing people is wrong, unless they're communists! Now, I'll be the first one to say that communism is a really bad idea, but god damn, you have to be able to see when the "solution" is worse than what's being "solved."

  • @JETZcorp the only problem with communism is the same thing wrong with what you have in the states, it's not democracy as all the politicians own the government officials, I guess you have a dictatorship like up in Canada, anyhoo the only thing wrong with communism is the 47 greedy guts white guys at the top who steal EVERYTHING from the other people. Women in Bulgaria before Communism fell got five years maternity leave. The USA hates babies and moms; they only get 27 days together.

  • @TallTorBlond The problem with Communism (and socialism in general) is that, economically speaking, it doesn't work.

    watch?v=5y3srlLz1cU

  • @JETZcorp I can't make your link work. p.s. I live in a socialist country (Canada) and it would work GREAT, indeed has worked great, except for the 147 greedy guts white guys at the top who STEAL EVERYTHING from everyone below them.

  • @TallTorBlond Canada is not a socialist country by any stretch. On the list of countries arranged by economic freedom, the US is number six, and Canada is number seven. From your comment, it sounds to me like your mostly-capitalist system works great, except for the 147 bits of socialism that are thrown in.

  • @JETZcorp What do you mean it doesn't work? The US has lived under socialism forever and it works great. Police, firefighters, public roads, public schools and public roads.. most of the things we take for granted came through socialism. Get real!

  • @rampagexxx All the thigns you mentioned are the things that don't work very well, though. The police let crime run rampant on public property, while private defense services keep private property, such as malls and concert venues, havens of safety. Firefighters are also primarily volunteer organizations, and largely funded through charity, rather than taxes. Public roads are deteriorating and overcrowded, public schools cost more than private and give worse results. Don't forget healthcare!

  • This isn't schoolhouse rock.

    It's progressive bullshit, nothing more......

  • @blackandgold978

What about the video is incorrect?

  • @amartin7889

The cartoon's use of the term "Terrorists" and "Freedom Fighters." For example, I have heard it argued that the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War was a "Terrorist" force, "vicious thugs", etc..... HOWEVER, George Washington and his troops didn't burn towns and cities and torture the CIVILIANS if they didn't agree with them. Terrorists like Al-Queida do. The implication is we brought on all our troubles on ourselves; a typical tired, American-hating Progressive argument.

  • @blackandgold978 yeah we just waited until we had won and proceeded to burn native american settlements, enslave african-americans, use poor whites as cheap labor and cannon fodder, and generally burn and torture our way to our current dominance

    also video owns

  • @BrosefMengegay Thanks for proving my point. Another progressive who sees America as an opressor; somthing to hate and despise. Why don't you just fly to France? Really? I mean, they have really loose immigration laws, and lots of socialsim, so you will be truly happy there. What's stopping you? You've just admitted how much you can't stand America, so just leave! Seriously, dude/dudette- Leave!

  • @blackandgold978 I could say something about how france's oppression of the roma people is also morally disgusting, and how solving the situation of millions of americans is a greater moral good than my personal dislike of the country I inhabit, and possibly even question how your complete failure to refute any of my points is really quite stunning...

but i guess i'll just settle for wondering how in the hell "gtfo" ever became a viable argument.

video still owns, news at 11

  • @BrosefMengegay Then why settle for France? Why not Cuba or China? You never bothered to answer why you don't simply leave, since you despise it so much here.

    Have a good day, Comrade.....

  • @blackandgold978 so are you going to just keep calling me a communist and telling me to leave or are you going to try arguing a coherent, logical point instead of resorting to blustery ad hominems

goddamn this video is catchy as hell

  • @BrosefMengegay And what would be the point of that; arguing with someone like yourself; portraying him/her self to be an intellectual. It only smacks of being an elitist; like so many of your brothers and sisters. Because at the end of the day it boils down to this: neither you nor I are going to change our minds if we produced all the charts and scientific statistics in the world. So what would be the point to that? It would be an excercise in futility.....

  • @blackandgold978 i'm sorry if you see me as an elitist, that's not my intent

for what it's worth, i used to be kind of like you. perhaps not so pro-america, or so anti-leftist, but i had a lot of really goddamn stupid ideas that it took other people way too much effort to disabuse me of. if you're unwilling to change your mind then that's fine, but don't pretend that the point this video is making isn't valid just because you personally don't like it.

    because it's awesome

  • @BrosefMengegay Ahh, now who looks to do the insulting: You by calling me stupid. But I don't mind that. What disturbs me, truly disturbs me about you is that you have such hatred for the country; despise it so much that you refuse to admit that we are indeed the best in the world. I've been to 12 different countries; during vacation and during combat. And I can say that there's no place I'd rather be than right here. Perhaps if you travelled a little, you might gain an appreciation. Or not....

  • @blackandgold978 i'm curious where you drew the insult from, maybe you should calm down a bit.

also i've traveled a bit myself, though admittedly not as extensively as you, nor in as bellicose a manner, and i've come to the conclusion that just because I, personally, would rather be somewhere else, doesn't mean i should just accept things the way they are. do i hate america, as it is now? yes. do i hate the people of america and believe i should doom them to stagnation? no.

  • @BrosefMengegay You good sir, are a scholar and a saint... I commend you for both your use of logic and the few great laughs you have given me. With that I say, GOOD DAY!

On a side note, I can't get the tune out of my head, and I am -NOT- complaining!

  • @blackandgold97: The United States government has known since the 1950's that their policies were festering hate in the Middle East.

  • @amartin7889 Good lord, I can't believe I'm still having this argument after so long. Give it a rest, liberals; I'm not changing my mind any more than you will. Further more, your comments about our policies are not accurate. The M.E. has been giving us trouble for well over a hundred years; since the Barbary Pirates were raiding our merchant ships. Google the Battle of Tripoli, and research it. Then you will understand.

  • @blackandgold978 Strange position for someone who uses those two colors as his screen name.

  • @TheExRepublican -

What the hell does my sceen name colors have to do with my position? It's a personal thing and has nothing to do with this issue. Do not presume.

  • @TheExRepublican those happen to be the colors of Market Anarchism/Voluntaryism.... I knew it was coincidental by the things you were saying, but I couldn't help but comment on the irony.

  • @blackandgold978 If the national export of Iraq was vegetables, there would be no war. This isn't a liberal/conservative issue because the whole left right debate in this country is totally faracical.

  • Hello.

where is the proof that saddam was on the CIA payrole?

where is the proof that ''Uncle Sam helped make the Ayatollah Khomeini cry' ?

  • @dunnededunnedunne all i had to do was google cia backs suddam

  • @dunnededunnedunne

i don't know the specific involvement of the cia, but a basic knowledge of history would tell you that saddam was a us ally in the 80s during some of his worst atrocities, and that the us supplied iraq under saddam with weapons, training, and diplomatic support during the iran-iraq war to destabilize both countries. this is a youtube comment box, so this needs to be short, but do your own research.

  • Simply put: BRILLIANT!

  • Few Problems with this video..

    1) Osama Bin Ladden was leading a group of fighters against RUSSIAN insurgants when the United States helped fund him. He didnt turn to terror tactics until after the United States stopped funding him.

    2) Hussein was the leader of the Bath party and was elected by the people of Iraq. He didnt show how much of a creature he was until after he got into office. And BTW, the United States did not profit from the oil in Iraq.

  • @Ruggan2030 You that right the US didn't profit from the oil in Iraq. Heck gas and oil prices went through the roof after that war was started. Heck here we now almost a decade later and the US is bankrupt.

  • Did you mean to say, "A political schoolhouse rock cartoon about terrorist/robbers/killers OR US leaders"?

  • ow.......that hurt my soul

  • I don't think i can stress real politik enough. What don't you americans get about it? When america was a fledgeling democracey freedom and liberty for all was a realistic idea, now you're an empire it just don't work

  • @20MrBigmac

Hey man, don't lump us all together. (Also, this country has never been a democracy. I think the word you're looking for is "Republic".) I agree with you somewhat. To tell the truth of the matter, the federalists held a bloodless coup when they nullified the Articles of Confederation and wrote the Constitution. Hasn't really been a free country ever since. The gov't is just really good at propaganda.

  • @GaurdDuck especially after ww2, Germany may have lost but propaganda's still going strong

  • love this!

  • if only they showed this in our public schools

  • @MisesianThinker This is fucking propaganda so no I hope that this shit isn't showed to kids in school.

  • @MisesianThinker not in Texas! ^_^ (and/or any stereotypically conservative state)

  • @LoneLawMan knowing nothing about this conversation and just reading this makes me think you're a really creepy person

  • You're right. if it looks like a duck it must be a duck. America sounds like a GREAT country, America does great things, Great people live in America. American stands for Great things like freedom of speech. People all over the world wants to live in America. America is a great duck (a great country for you and for me).

  • I don't remember this one..I guess too late....sure has alot off political overtones...damn..I don't remember alll that in the earlier ones..except maybe for elbow room...but all of em were good in their time...educated this idiot.

  • @LoneLawMan lol what was that?

  • @LoneLawMan answer the question.

  • @LoneLawMan tell me do your lips get raw kissing americas ass all day? or does your atrophy of the brain dull sensation in your body so you can't really tell?

  • @LoneLawMan yes. how dare the maker of this video try to interrupt the indoctrination and brain washing america works so hard to induce on children. its not easy for an empire to hide its many evils and control the minds of its people.

  • sounds like the war in Iraq, what is the difference between war and genocide? besides "why they are killing"

  • I however serve the laws of Jesus Christ and God Almighty. The Bible says those who break the law will get their just desserts. Good will triumph because evil is stupid

  • Contras= Freedom Fighters? LMAO

  • @thesmiths30605 according to Ronald Reagan's Adminsitration, the contras were "freedom fighters"

the "terrorists" we're fighting in Afghanistan were also once called "freedom fighters" when we used them to kill Russians

  • very true wrong is wrong no matter how you try to justify what you are doing

  • Leftist Propaganda!

  • @BigMDS67

Pretty sure it's not propaganda if it's true.

  • @BigMDS67

providing historical facts is not propaganda

    you cannot dispute those facts

  • Nice pack of lies and over simplified crap.

  • @Splube

    which one is a lie?

  • @ZegatonZ All of it.

  • Political issues aside, this song has a really catchy tune. Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to get this song on an MP3? I can't use vixy.net.... Thanks in advance!

  • ok i listened to this lke 5 times and i stiill dont understand it....ugh

  • @ChocolateNerd97

The difference between government and other groups of thieves, liars, and murderers is that government has become so large as to grant itself immunity against its' depradations.

  • @WorBlux like Israel! lol
