Hey I've been searching for directions to DH trail and I can't find them anywhere... Can someone please share?? I checked the website "pacificafreefride" and didn't find them anywhere....
hey, on the trail that goes into montara what kind of safety gear would you recommend? like a helmet and knee/elbow pads? does it matter if it's a full face helmet or not and do you think u could do this trail on a hard tail bike?
That question is for you to answer. Depends on how you ride. I pin it and wear full face and knees. If you were riding slow and technical you could wear less. It sucks on a hardtail.
born and raised riding here in santa cruz. was wondering if these trails can be shuttled. if so, how? if you could let me know that would be great. looks fun...rye
No sir, no shuttles, you gotta earn it in Pacifica! It's all pedaling to the top, but it's on a fireroad and easy enough to do on a big bike. Send me a message sometime if you want me to show you around.
Cave starts at the top of Montara Mtn and ends in Montara instead of Pacifica. When you are at the top of Crack you have to keep climbing for another 35 minutes. Happy to show you sometime. Are you on the forums? RideSFO? Pinkbike?

Thanks! Not sure when I will hit it but I will let you know. Are there any other details you can give me to find the right trail at the top?
