Cockatoos do seem to love cats. My instructor at Vet Tech school had one that lived in our classroom, and she really believed she was a cat. She would open the other cat's cages and go inside with them. The cats never seemed to mind, except when she would try to mate with them lol. She even meowed all the time.

Aw, that is so sweet! My late late Annabella had a close friendship with my cockatiels, Elvis and Fabian. She and Fabian in particular were very cozy. He sat on her often and sometimes preened her ears just like Coco does for Lucky. I have a cute video of them I'll post in your video response section.
