  • Very pleasant.

  • I love this song so much! Is it just me or do the bands of my generation(i'm 21)all lack the spark of these older bands?

  • wow, the subject matter is dated, but it sure tells a story about cultural shifts -- the fearsome outcome of unwanted pregnancy is no big deal today, but back then there was stigma, rejection, failure, shame associated with pregnancy out of wedlock, and real disadvantages for the bastard child and its unwise mother -

"waiting for the kill" musty signify the moral atrocity of abortion - "why can't I have what's naturally mine" shows a desire of a man to know his child, a rarity these days

  • @SupernalOne Wow. You got it . But. The song and story is about the movie Rosemarys baby.

  • Too bad Gillan stuck to 20 songs he wants to sing...

  • @The Mark1957 Yeah......for sure...man!

  • one of the gratest songs of the world!!! DP 4 ever!!!

  • Deep Purple did some great blues songs which this is one of them but never gets the recognition for it. Great song!!!!

  • @TheMark1957 Blackmore's Gibson days were the best, this burner being one stunning example...just like Clapton's Bluesbreakers and Cream sounds.
