there are different types of tinnitus, they depend on the root origin. For example, i discovered that mine was just the symptom of a cervical missalignment, i started by changing the bed for an orthopedic model (pillow top), i also changed my pillow for a memory foam (ultrasoft one), and got a deep massage to my neck and back, and VOILA! tinnitus to almost cero!!! but that was just me of course.
You dont necessarily need to have a tumor to cause tinnitus, tinnitus can be the result of even a neck pain due to a too high or hard pillow, and unconfortable and too old bed, drugs (medication being taken for too long or certain antibiotics), too loud music, an accident in wich you hit your head, spine or neck, a bad diet, sitting too long in front of a monitor with your head and neck incorrectly positioned, too much caffein, too much salt, high blood preassure, diabetes, lack of sleep, STRESS
my tinnitus started as a low ring then moved up to the sound of a old TV turned on , now its a very loud ring , its wakes me up at night and i just want it to go away, I never got around any loud noises to cause it, it just happened on its own , my doc is looking into the possibility that I may have a tumor
If you are really interested in curing your tinnitus, I strongly suggest that you read the following post. It led me to heal my tinnitus once and for all.
I can't understand sign language, but I can certainly understand how painful it is to live with tinnitus.
It's really scary. It gets worse as your hearing gets worse. I try my best to keep my hearing from getting worse for that very reason. Maybe mine will go away soon...
tinnitus is a bitch that deserves to be banished to the bowels of hell itself. mine is really minor though, i just get worried and i here it, but ill get used to it
haha well put. Yeah it is a bitch, mine is getting worse. Playing guitar in a band doesn't help. I'm going to have to stop playing for a bit because i know it's not doing any good.
I wish anyone with tinnitus the best. Stay positive!!

@amandeep1234567 yeah, i went a Heavy Metal festival once. at the end of the night, i was surprised my ears did not ring after 7 hours of head banging and loud music. earplugs can really really help you, it helps to keep a pair in your pocket all the time
@4everRock666 Yeah earplugs are good for metal concerts anyway because it cuts out some of the white noise so you can hear the music more clearly with greater detail anyway.
I just cured mine, without even going to the doctor, by doing some research i got the right treatment, of course it will not be for everybody, but, send me a message, i'll be happy to assist you! By the way, it took me about 3 months
@amc1851, i've had it for 6 yrs now and at one stage i was ready to commit suicide as it was that bad.. on a rating out of 10, 10 being the worst, mine was 20..!! it was HELL & i mean HELL.. stress makes it worse so i have calmed down and i do self hypnotherapy as i am now trained as a clinical hypnotherapist.. anyway it is much better now probably around 5 out of 10.. but if you or anyone who reads this can tell me how to get rid altogether i would be very grateful.. thanks
hey, mine is related to tmj aswell! you're actually the only person ive come across with the same condition as me. my symptoms are jaw pain, headaches and i find it hard to exhibit normal facial expressions. i can barely hold a smile. i think thats the worst part of it. do you have that or anything similar?
yeah i guess when u have tinnitus, you can use everyday sounds to put it in the background. ive had it for 2 years now but i feel im getting more used to it
@Mikey1724 Nah. I've had tinnitus for 3 years now. It really depressed me for the first couple of years, but I'm starting ot get used to it now. I don't really notice it now, unless I go to loud places, then it'll annoy me for a couple of days after. You won't go deaf with tinnitus
well i've had mine for like 5-6 days now not clearly as long as u had obviously lol
but yea ive been really depressed this past week but doin all this research online and reading different stories i've learned being positive and just learning to deal with it is the best way to beat it so now im being positive and its not that bad i honestly dont think its bugs me alot i tried holding my nose and blowing and it actually seems to take the pressure out of my ear but slightly lol
Lots of people want to know what he is saying. It is too long for a complete transcript, it won't fit in comments. But he says to try gingko biloba for help with tinnitus. I will try to send him the full transcript I made so he can post it.
I am going try it.. I just am tired of it because i have it for 2 years straight.. nonstop.. its crazy.. i am going buy and try it.. if it works.. THANKS YOU!!.. whats more i do believe in herbs.. how dumb i am that i didnt check out for tinnitus
yeah when under pressure and when im tired I get constant buzzing noises and high pitches in my ear that is totally deaf no hearing at all which I find irritating, music doesnt bother me or loud noises
That sucks, my problem is I can't understand if I am losing my hearing to loud noises or if its possibly just stress and it makes it seem like I can't accept loud noises and is also creating the Tinnitus.
I have tinnitus from exposure to load noise. Had ot for over a year. It's in both ears, loud as balls. I've gotten used to it, sometimes I forget I have it and tune it out, but when I think about it, it's right back in my face. I had special plugs made, and don't crank the amps up anymore
If you are really interested in curing your tinnitus, I strongly suggest that you read the following post. It led me to heal my tinnitus once and for all.
@McIntyGames yes i only became aware of it a few years ago. can you remember those little white fun snap things that you throw on the ground and they make a small pop? we had some of them and my friend chucked one and the bastard thing went in my right lug and popped and it was ringing really bad for weeks afterwards. it cleared and now i only notice ringing when i think or worry about it. strange
I have bad tinnitus in my one ear but it comes and goes, but the weird thing is if i put pressure rite below my ear kinda on my side neck it goes away. but when i remove my finger it comes back.... does anyone else have this??? Is this still considered tinnitus?? someone help?
I do not understand signing but I understand your suffering. I have tinnitus. Normally I have it under control but lately it has been getting worse. I have been taking zinc supplements, and I avoid coffee and tea. It helps a little. Good luck man.
I had it for a week, and it drove me nuts. Thank God it went away!!

Tinnitus caused by insufficient blood circulate in your ear?...
