Jammer dat de Mebo II aan gort is geschoten en in de Libische wateren en gezonken is als oefen object voor Libische militaire doeleinden. Een totale verspilling zou ik zeggen. Het enige wat nog over is uit de Nederlandse zendschip geschiedenis is de Nordeney van Radio Veronica. Dit schip moet opgenomen worden in het Maritiem Museum in Rotterdam!.

After the closure of all the other offshore stations RNI came as a pleasant surprise to all of us. As station manager I have enjoyed working many times not in the best of weather and love the station as much as you do. Spangles Muldoon 1971
excellent ! just a great shame its no longer here, as you know it was colonel Gadaffy (Duck) that ordered it to be sank on a training exercise and was sent to the bottom of the Libyan sea. Keep up the good work Radlett2
