@MangaMoogleMan Okay, you don't understand what I'm trying to say. lol. Degrassi was created as an educational show. It's going to repeat storylines because a new generation of kids are now watching. DTNG season 1-5 storylines were repeated from Degrassi Junior High and there is a reason why Degrassi has such a large cast. So they can put as many problems in the show as possible. It's not one group of kids. Degrassi has many characters who kick it with different people. They're not all friends.

It has classic degrassi themes like, running for school president, trying to impress a teacher, etc, but then goes into deeper issues like a parent with cancer or abuse in relationships. I'm sure the only reason that they're going on for more and more seasons is that they can be here for a new generation of teens. Season 8- present is the 3rd generation.
