  • Buy the ShinSung Career Fire 201S instead. Then you can use it's Eun-Jin 77gr on large birds and rabbits and use it's 100gr on games as large as deer. Plus you get the same 180-200 ft/lbs power. 9mm has pressure-gauge too.

With a .50cal you don't have those options. The bullets are chunkier but that's where the benefits end. Can't use it on birds or rabbits either.

  • i would

  • Hi Pete401 Can you please show me a video of what it does to a 2x4 or a pic? thanks

  • Poof. Goes through it.

    Goes through up to 4".

  • what kind of penetration do you get with that gun? Thru a phone book?

  • Not sure. Must try that sometime.

  • Same gun in .25 goes through 1700 pages which is almost 2 yellowpages and .25 has around 78 ft/lbs max. This gun (9mm) with 100gr bullet produces 180-200 ft/lb so I wouldn't try it on even 2 yellowpages unless I have a 4"x4" behind them as a backstop.

The same bullet still has 68ft/lbs energy remaining at 200 yards so it can go through about 1.5 yellowpages and kill a deer at 200 yards!

  • hell my 22 is only 125 ft lbs :( i never thought the day would come that air rifles are more powerful than a 22

  • Quackenbush makes bigbore air rifles with over 500 ft/lbs. You can see one of their bigbore rifles drop a Bighorn desert ram from 100 yard with 1 shot here. The nicest and cheapest factory made bigbore is Career fire 202s 9mm and I have online sites where you can buy high quality 158gr bullets cheap. They produce 180-200 ft/lbs enough to drop a deer up to 100-150yard.

Their only 2 problems are 1. Only 5 high-power shots per charge 2. Not very accurate unless you use great quality heavy pellets.

  • a .22 LR has a very small powder charge. the big powder version of the .22 is the .222 or the .223. it shoots a heavier bullet with more powder than the .22 but its still extremely fast

  • Every 40 ft/lbs goes through 1000 pages.

Career Fire 201s(now 202s) produces between 100 and 200 ft/lbs. The shotgun version of it produced 260ft/lbs of power.

All depends on the weight & quality of bullets. They range from light Eun-Jin 77.1 gr to 160gr lead bullets.

Assuming an average of 160 ft/lbs energy it can go through 2400-2600 pages of yellowpages.

My .22 rimfire at around 120ft/lbs passed 1950 pages. 9mm is fatter so we have to consider that too. Some bullets go through a 4"x4".

  • nice shot pete great gun great vids

  • How many full power shots can you get with that gun? and also pyramidairDOTcom says that you can only use the Eun Jin pellets not the other 9mm pellets they sell but is this true? because to me the pellets seem to be the same size.

  • Thanks. No I havn't had the privilege of using a Dragon Slayer. Have you seen any youtube videos of it?

  • on google video there is one video I just saw but its only a vid of the gun no test fire or anything:(

  • I'll check it out. Thanks!

  • Nice... I like it! 5 stars.

  • THANKS! =)
