Team didnt sue Amway (Quixtar) it was team that tried to make demands for more from Quixtar and got sent packing. The Quixtar lawyers talked to me about it. TEAM was promissing the world to its members(or downline) and making a fortune selling thier "tools" to the members.
I suppose this is why TEAM sued Amway for running an illegal pyramid and broke off their association with Amway. The suit didn't go anywhere because the IBO contract requires submission to arbitration on Amway's terms.

Beastlacey, did you know V8 Vfusion has the Acai berry in it as well, and it is about $35 cheaper than MonaVie? As you know the Acai berry is MonaVie's claim to fame. Also 90% of the people selling MonaVie fail, that is a fact. MonaVie is not ground floor for Team, it has been around for awhile. But hey, Orrin had to sell something right? First point, we don't have to "sell". We buy for ourselves and refer others to do the same. Your 90% failure figure has no bearing on TEAM. MonaVie has never had the TEAM community before until now. The best "community" builders in the industry. TEAM's system is the key. We don't make the product our #1 focus, we make the community #1 and the product volume comes naturally. To answer your question (which I don't need to explain to anyone) anyone affiliated with TEAM always told the new people we are TEAM powered by Quixtar. Which we were. Team has it's own community building program which wasn't pyramadic such as Quixtars program. We utilized the same depth building system for years and when Quixtar decided to get greedy and spew their bull, all of the sudden that TEAM approach thing was "news" to them! You believe what you will, I know the truth.
I'm not into debating anyone. I'm a person of integrity and I wouldn't be with TEAM if that weren't the case. Quixtar is the classic corporate bully who picked the wrong fight and someone finally stood up to them and said, "this isn't right". Orrin Woodward is still fighting for the non-TEAM IBO's still with Quixtar because they've been enslaved as well. He doesn't have to do that.

Hey Crusae - beastlacey is right about not force feeding products on anyone. Because there ARE NO PRODUCTS TO FORCE FEED. I'm telling you the straight truth here as well. The ONLY product is juice, which here in west Michigan it is only $140 a month for a case, $40 Dollars a year to stay in, and throw in another $20 for a DVD that will help you sell it. Until the so called "partner stores" in phase 2 show up (Not Feb. 22, Not March 22. Not April 1st), sometime this year, there is nothing else.

I've learned plenty about priests by being part of TEAM for a year. Jesus, the Bible, priests and pastors were endorsed to the point that it felt like I was switching religions , not only my buying habits. I left TEAM and was glad to find out that I can sell Xs with ease without a TEAM upline making me feel guilty about drinking coke.

What was Orrin supposed to do during those 6 months, go against the law? He told us from day one he'd fight the 6 month non-compete but if took the whole 6 months that's the way it would be. The TEAM didn't fall apart like Amway expected. We stayed tight because we have a purpose. We also have an informational system that was put in place so we all can stay informed. Many chose to not take part in the info. system. Guess where they're at now? Nowhere to be found. Those who stayed ..win.

I am a member of Team. (In West Michigan) They have misled me from the start. I was promised a spot in line for the roll out of products below wal-mart prices in Feb. 22nd. With signing onto system for about 65 dollars a month buying books and cds. That date turned into April 1st. (After the court dispute with Quickway FINALLY done.) The big roll out (First Phase) turned out to be Juice. Something nothing to do with team. Now you have to pay $39.99 for a spot in line. Talk about a 180! LIARS!

I have never been a part of Quixstar. I evaluted and quickly saw that the prices were not competitive. I did this when I was 21 years old. They were terminated when they made their announcement that they were resigning their affiliation with Amway. Amway terminated their businesses so they could smear their names and discredit them in hopes the TEAM would fall apart. It backfired on them because they underestimated the power of "community"! I'm not sure how your comment relates to my video message, in fact I'm not sure what you're saying all together. But I'm willing to talk anyway. When I was part of Team I was told that the tools are optional, but so is success. In other words, the only way to succeed in Quixtar was to keep on buying the tools.
Neither do I understand what "credentials" have to do with anything. You can either agree or disagree.
I checked out TEAM in west Michigan, I didn't sign onto system but did sign up for the products below WalMart prices. After pushing back the release date for two months (Court battle with quixstar) they don't have anything available. They do have another scam to sign up with and you get to sell Juice!!! Pay a hundred Dollars for a ticket for a convention. There are three millionaires standing on stage and couple thousand broke dicks in the audience. And That is the way it will always be.

Before you start slamming someone or something you know nothing about I think you should get the facts. Bottom line is Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady, along with other TEAM members, stood for their convictions and walked away from a company they knew had no character or moral authority along with many other atributes that a leader must possess. Seems to me you need their leadership guidance more than anyone I have ever met! To a Million and Beyond.
1. With all due respect, I was part of TEAM for over a year.
2. Woodward/Brady didn't walk away, they were terminated.
3. TEAM never mentioned a word about Quixtar by seminars, opens and house meetings. Amway was a forbidden word. When prospects asked if this was Amway/Quixtar I was told to give some b.s. answer to avoid the question. Do you call that a "company that has character and moral authority along with many other attributes that a leader must possess."?
SiperEnergy, what you are saying is absolutely true. When I was first told about "TEAM", I asked specifically if this was Quixstar and the dude said no. This is the leaders Orrin and Chris Brady who teach this kind of response and yet they talk about integrity and leadership, and Christ and then they teach people to blatantly mislead people.
Technically, Edubbs2319, they were not a part of Quixtar. TEAM had a vision and thought that Quixtar was the portal that would help them carry out their vision. They found that not to be true which is why they ended the business relationship. Google for Orrins Leadership Blog and search the February archives. Read Historical Reminiscences parts 1 through 5. Those may shed some light on a few things.
1.With all due respect, you were not part of the TEAM experience we have had the privelage of being a part of and for that I am truly sorry for you.
2.I have done my research,for hours, and yes they resigned.
3.TEAM did not attend those seminars, those SCREAMED CULT. As for the other items, read the old "handbook". Amway has ALWAYS been a forbidden word. I wouldn't want to be associated with that name either.

You can learn so much from the books and tapes but you could have done that by a walk throught the bookstore. Quixtar was never the right fit for what Woodward and Brady wanted to ultimately do and it still made them a fortune. Simply put, they offered an education system that has much to offer. Take what you learned and apply it to your life or business. But leave it at that. I never felt duped just not fully informed. My mistake for not digging deeper.
Siper is right. They never in the 5 years I was with them EVER explained how profits were split on tapes/CDs. They ALWAYS kept that quiet because the magic was never Quixtar but rather the tapes/CDs. That's why they wanted you to buy TOW/SOL/ and other media. Finally, Quixtar was always outrageously overpriced but the TEAM kept pushing the "Your underwear won't set you free" concept when in reality they knew all along the products were too expensive for the average IBO to hit 150/month.
Brady never attempted to sue Quixtar. Another strike against your crusade to nowhere! All he and Woodward set out to do was to drop the no-compete clause. Didn't happen. We're moving on! Your GOD KING is bleeding to death. Better go give 'em their last rites!
every single open meeting I went to, and I went to one every week, it was mentioned and drawn out on the board that 40 in one organization and 20 in another generating the proper pv/bv and also tied in to the training system would generate $2-3000 combined income. Interesting, I never was told that tool profit was part of the $2-3000. Here is something to ponder about, an average Platinum earns $48000 year according to quixtar. That's $4000 a month without tool profit. 40 and 20 formation is an average Platinum. Where are the tool profits? Secondly, the comp plan for tools was never explained.
Get it straight friend. TEAM is an MLM. MLM is an affiliate program that rewards not only for retailing products but for recruiting others to do the same. MLM rewards for self consuming products as well. An MLM without retail is illegal. Brady tried suing Quixtar fro not giving IBOs the opportunity to retail, remeber. You just showed me how bigoted and ignorant you are. I will stop responding to you .
The tools were in place to help the IBO sponsor ppl into a business that used to be legit and sponsoring became #1 priority because even most of the IBOs had a hard time convincing themselves to buy even from their own business due to pricing..
Although the tools did help sponsor new people and in fact they are necessary to do so (hence my website MLMResourceNetwork), they were and are the main source of income for Brady and Woodward.
I have no problem with making money on tools, as long as the high pins admit to it and let people know what percentage it is of their Quyixtar check.
The power in community is strength in numbers, built on trust. That's why TEAM is staying the course and not waivering because the Team Leadership has proven they are worth of our trust. I know this for a fact because I'm part of the TEAM leadership. I do what I say I'm goin to do! My character isn't for sale!
The power of community can be used to grow a pyramid covered up by a legit mlm opportunity. Quality products make an mlm legit not a community. Woodward and Brady use a legit mlm with quality products to sell their tools that are only retail able to ibos themselves (which makes it a pyramid).
Siper my friend, Quixtar is not a legit mlm at 3.4% retail for the entire amway quixtar business. profit sharing in the tool system made up for not being able to retail over priced products. I would have loved to sign up customers and a few IBOs, but out of the 20 customers I set up only my mom bought anything .
It is unfortunate that TEAM put out so many CDs while never teaching how to retail. At this point I have my customers ordering from me without me even knowing about it.
The Ditto program was layed out for those who chose to participate. The whole idea behind community is to act as a "community". People weren't looked down on if they chose not to participate in the Ditto program!
Participation in TEAM was and is for those who choose to participate as well. Here what I heard on TEAM cds about ditto: "We want to set people up for success and not failure, we therefor expect them to go on ditto." Since TEAM never taught people how to retail, ditto was the only other option. Retailing meant making more money while having less ibos; less ibos meant less tools profits.
Oh, and one more thing... TEAM didn't teach us to fill our living room with Amway products like your friendly neighborhood MLM. There was no requirement for purchase, ever! We were taught not to focus on the millions of products, only the highest in profit that were consumable. There is so much you don't know and probably never will because you have your own pre-conceived notions. That's okay. Time proves people of integrity right when they act with honor. Time is The TEAM's best friend.
So you never were told do your 100pv. And neither were you told to be on ditto (auto ship on products that you needed or not). Orrin never mentioned to waist your money on drinking xs twice a day instead of coke. There is so much you know but refuse to believe, because believing the truth would mean acknologing that you got screwed.
ouch, thebeastlacey, like almost the entire community where i'm from is with Team(TM) and in order to be in the business you need to buy 2 cases of MonaVie juice which cost 360$. Then per month you need to pay 180$ for a case of that juice. No one receives money at all since only like 1/5th of the place i'm from is not in the business. If your experience with Team(tm)is different please let me know!!

I've been with TEAM for quite some time and I nor anyone I know has ever force fed any product on someone. I'm telling you the straight truth here too. Team didnt sue Amway (Quixtar) it was team that tried to make demands for more from Quixtar and got sent packing. The Quixtar lawyers talked to me about it. TEAM was promissing the world to its members(or downline) and making a fortune selling thier "tools" to the members.

I suppose this is why TEAM sued Amway for running an illegal pyramid and broke off their association with Amway. The suit didn't go anywhere because the IBO contract requires submission to arbitration on Amway's terms.
Then TEAM dropped the price of their tools. Orrin Woodward is a class act, and he does everything he can think of to make building a business as easy as possible for the new person.

Just so you know, Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady are not with AmWay anymore. They are with a new product called Monavie, and the research has proven that this is one of the best, if not the best, health drink out there! They do promote community and about helping each other in the business, and not making money. They stress knowing a person and their needs first, before trying to sign them up with TEAM. Just thought you should know.

Do you have any clue just how they scammed people? Telling thier downline that there were going to be limos showing up to take them away as they quit thier jobs. Here's a hint though. "CD of the week" alone made Team Inc over a quarter of a Billion each and every year. Brady and Woodward bought thier homes in FL with that money, not from success at Quixtar or "showing the plan" You ned to take a look at thier requirements of the downline. Then one day when Quickstar says hey guys no more making money off the tools, thats a deal we made with the feds, now play ball. I've made more my first month with TEAM/MonaVie than I did my first 2 years with Quixtar! It's liberating being able to talk about your commerce site without being embarassed. Beastlacey, did you know V8 Vfusion has the Acai berry in it as well, and it is about $35 cheaper than MonaVie? As you know the Acai berry is MonaVie's claim to fame. Also 90% of the people selling MonaVie fail, that is a fact. MonaVie is not ground floor for Team, it has been around for awhile. But hey, Orrin had to sell something right? Maybe when or if the partner stores show up (SOMETIME THIS YEAR??) we can get the V8 juice cheaper than WalMart prices.

First point, we don't have to "sell". We buy for ourselves and refer others to do the same. Your 90% failure figure has no bearing on TEAM. MonaVie has never had the TEAM community before until now. The best "community" builders in the industry. TEAM's system is the key. We don't make the product our #1 focus, we make the community #1 and the product volume comes naturally. To answer your question (which I don't need to explain to anyone) anyone affiliated with TEAM always told the new people we are TEAM powered by Quixtar. Which we were. Team has it's own community building program which wasn't pyramadic such as Quixtars program. We utilized the same depth building system for years and when Quixtar decided to get greedy and spew their bull, all of the sudden that TEAM approach thing was "news" to them! You believe what you will, I know the truth.

I'm not into debating anyone. I'm a person of integrity and I wouldn't be with TEAM if that weren't the case. Quixtar is the classic corporate bully who picked the wrong fight and someone finally stood up to them and said, "this isn't right". Orrin Woodward is still fighting for the non-TEAM IBO's still with Quixtar because they've been enslaved as well. He doesn't have to do that.
People should be free to pursue free enterprise and not be threatened when doing so.

I know a dude from TEAM who literally told me, "I'm glad my leaders send me a book every month." What these "tools" fail to realize is that leaders know how to motivate themselves. Hey Crusae - beastlacey is right about not force feeding products on anyone. Because there ARE NO PRODUCTS TO FORCE FEED. I'm telling you the straight truth here as well. The ONLY product is juice, which here in west Michigan it is only $140 a month for a case, $40 Dollars a year to stay in, and throw in another $20 for a DVD that will help you sell it. Until the so called "partner stores" in phase 2 show up (Not Feb. 22, Not March 22. Not April 1st), sometime this year, there is nothing else.

I've learned plenty about priests by being part of TEAM for a year. Jesus, the Bible, priests and pastors were endorsed to the point that it felt like I was switching religions , not only my buying habits. I left TEAM and was glad to find out that I can sell Xs with ease without a TEAM upline making me feel guilty about drinking coke.

What was Orrin supposed to do during those 6 months, go against the law? He told us from day one he'd fight the 6 month non-compete but if took the whole 6 months that's the way it would be. The TEAM didn't fall apart like Amway expected. We stayed tight because we have a purpose. We also have an informational system that was put in place so we all can stay informed. Many chose to not take part in the info. system. Guess where they're at now? Nowhere to be found. Those who stayed ..win.

I'm getting better by not listening to team. How can you trust them when they tell you one thing and then totally do a 180 on everything? They couldn't do anything for six months, I know. I am a member of Team. (In West Michigan) They have misled me from the start. I was promised a spot in line for the roll out of products below wal-mart prices in Feb. 22nd. With signing onto system for about 65 dollars a month buying books and cds. That date turned into April 1st. (After the court dispute with Quickway FINALLY done.) The big roll out (First Phase) turned out to be Juice. Something nothing to do with team. Now you have to pay $39.99 for a spot in line. Talk about a 180! LIARS!

When I was part of Team I was told that the tools are optional, but so is success. In other words, the only way to succeed in Quixtar was to keep on buying the tools.

2. Woodward/Brady didn't walk away, they were terminated.
3. TEAM never mentioned a word about Quixtar by seminars, opens and house meetings. Amway was a forbidden word. When prospects asked if this was Amway/Quixtar I was told to give some b.s. answer to avoid the question. Technically, Edubbs2319, they were not a part of Quixtar. TEAM had a vision and thought that Quixtar was the portal that would help them carry out their vision. They found that not to be true which is why they ended the business relationship. Google for Orrins Leadership Blog and search the February archives. Read Historical Reminiscences parts 1 through 5. Those may shed some light on a few things.

You can learn so much from the books and tapes but you could have done that by a walk throught the bookstore. Quixtar was never the right fit for what Woodward and Brady wanted to ultimately do and it still made them a fortune. Simply put, they offered an education system that has much to offer. Take what you learned and apply it to your life or business. But leave it at that. I never felt duped just not fully informed. My mistake for not digging deeper.

That's why they wanted you to buy TOW/SOL/ and other media. Finally, Quixtar was always outrageously overpriced but the TEAM kept pushing the "Your underwear won't set you free" concept when in reality they knew all along the products were too expensive for the average IBO to hit 150/month.

The tools were in place to help the IBO sponsor ppl into a business that used to be legit and sponsoring became #1 priority because even most of the IBOs had a hard time convincing themselves to buy even from their own business due to pricing..

Although the tools did help sponsor new people and in fact they are necessary to do so (hence my website MLMResourceNetwork), they were and are the main source of income for Brady and Woodward.
I have no problem with making money on tools, as long as the high pins admit to it and let people know what percentage it is of their Quyixtar check.

The power of community can be used to grow a pyramid covered up by a legit mlm opportunity. Quality products make an mlm legit not a community. Woodward and Brady use a legit mlm with quality products to sell their tools that are only retail able to ibos themselves (which makes it a pyramid).

Siper my friend, Quixtar is not a legit mlm at 3.4% retail for the entire amway quixtar business. profit sharing in the tool system made up for not being able to retail over priced products. I would have loved to sign up customers and a few IBOs, but out of the 20 customers I set up only my mom bought anything .

It is unfortunate that TEAM put out so many CDs while never teaching how to retail. At this point I have my customers ordering from me without me even knowing about it.

The Ditto program was layed out for those who chose to participate. The whole idea behind community is to act as a "community". People weren't looked down on if they chose not to participate in the Ditto program!

Participation in TEAM was and is for those who choose to participate as well. Here what I heard on TEAM cds about ditto: "We want to set people up for success and not failure, we therefor expect them to go on ditto." Since TEAM never taught people how to retail, ditto was the only other option. Retailing meant making more money while having less ibos; less ibos meant less tools profits.

Oh, and one more thing... TEAM didn't teach us to fill our living room with Amway products like your friendly neighborhood MLM. There was no requirement for purchase, ever! We were taught not to focus on the millions of products, only the highest in profit that were consumable. There is so much you don't know and probably never will because you have your own pre-conceived notions. That's okay. Time proves people of integrity right when they act with honor. Time is The TEAM's best friend.

So you never were told do your 100pv. And neither were you told to be on ditto (auto ship on products that you needed or not). Orrin never mentioned to waist your money on drinking xs twice a day instead of coke. There is so much you know but refuse to believe, because believing the truth would mean acknologing that you got screwed.

ouch, thebeastlacey, like almost the entire community where i'm from is with Team(TM) and in order to be in the business you need to buy 2 cases of MonaVie juice which cost 360$. Then per month you need to pay 180$ for a case of that juice. No one receives money at all since only like 1/5th of the place i'm from is not in the business. If your experience with Team(tm)is different please let me know!!

crusae~ The Team is a grace organization. There is no requirements whatsoever. You can be on TEAM and never buy any MonaVie! I've been with TEAM for quite some time and I nor anyone I know has ever force fed any product on someone. I'm telling you the straight truth here too. The TEAM system teaches people to rid themselves of the garbage media that's avail. and get the right info. from the right source. I'm one of several thousand right sources. Hope this helps.

siper you truly have no clue my friend, tool profits on TEAM have always been shared based on performance. That is why Q was angry, they didn't want us to do that anymore, check out andy andrews youtube, he explains this in much more detail. Different team but same premise..

There will be no corp at the top to take massive profits off the top. Were gonna chop the head off this industry and give the profits to the people based on performance, not some corp at the top!!!

Remember, TEAM decided to share their tool profit and pay "people based on performance" only after they were kicked out of Quixtar. Sir, you are completely stupid. Every time you post a video about Team, you smear and mis-represent. Orrin Woodward LEAD THE CHARGE to reform Quxtards' ways. This is very well DOCUMENTED if you followed the law suits at all. He has so much class that he tried to do it behind the scenes to spare Q the embarrasment. He did the right thing. He left.

The point of this video was that TEAM taught IBOs to lead with the Opportunity and not the product, Quixtar never told Orrin to do that. All I said was "If TEAM goes a head with the same strategy in their new MLM, that should send up a red flag to you people".
